TODOS Productions in association with RCAT is excited to unveil the poster for our upcoming production: “76 Centimeters” written by Xaiver Michael Campbell, directed by Santiago Guzmán.
SYNOPSIS: Late January 2020, the City of St. John's issues a state of emergency during Snowmageddon. Inside their basement apartment, long-term couple Abe and Samson are in the midst of their own storm. They battle Canada's alleged well-regulated immigration system & each other, while their seaside town is relentlessly pummeled. As the snowdrifts grow, the storm rages on both out in the world & inside their home. Can they find a way through the tempest together? Will love be enough ?
Starring Jamal Weeks and Blake Pyne*.
Directed by Santiago Guzmán, assistant directed by Xaiver Michael Campbell, and intimacy direction by Robyn Huxter. Designed by Bob Stamp (lighting), Daniel Fuchs (sound), Brenda Duran (set and props), Pat Dempsey (projection) and Mariia Kero (costumes). Stage Management by Sophia Molnar. Production Management by Cassandra Munroe. Social Media and Outreach Coordination by Lydia Makaga.
This show is a celebration of love and a broader commentary on the universal search for finding oneself and one’s community.
