It was too hot inside, so junior & senior high students headed out to get cold drinks & ice creams. ☀️

Good morning! We are revamping our sensory room over the summer. If anyone happens to have a bean bag chair(s) that they no longer use and would like to donate to our project please let Mrs. Pilgrim know. We are looking for something that is easy to clean so preferably vinyl. The picture is just for an example. Thanks for your continued support! 😊

The grade six students had fun in the sun at Main Brook Park on Friday! ☀️

What a beautiful day for a BBQ! Thanks to everyone who came to our year end BBQ today, and to everyone who helped organize, prepare, and cook! A great day for our Timberwolves family and friends to come together! 🖤💚🩶

Last Friday the Grade 4/5 class went on a field trip to Conche! They were able to visit the French Shore Interpretation Centre, the Plane Crash, had lunch on the beach thanks to Ocean Mart, had a tour of the Fish Plant and even had a feed of crab!! Many thanks to everyone who helped make this field trip be a success! Everyone had a wonderful day ☀️🦀

The junior high group had a “whale” of a time during their field trip to St. Anthony on Friday. They toured the bank, the water bomber memorial site and watched the whales frolick and play at Fishing Point! Of course no field trip is complete without lunch and a little bit of shopping. A great day was had by everyone. Thanks to everyone who supported our hot dog fundraiser that provided some of the funds as well as the bingo. A big thank you to Mrs. Carroll for joining us too.

Reminder that there will be a bbq starting at 11:30, today, Tuesday. This is a regular school day. Buses will depart from the school at 3:00 pm. Please share.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Mr. Freeze fundraiser! We were able to raise $292 for the Janeway while keeping cool on these hot days! We are grateful for all of your support!🖤💚🩶

Just hanging out with 63 of our closest friends! Our second Wake-A-Thon! Everyone is happy so far despite the heat! We are in for a great night!🖤🩶💚

Our K/1 class spent some time learning about the importance of recycling this year. ♻️ They were diligent in making sure everyone’s recycling items went in the “blue bin”! Today they used the money we earned to make a trip to Ms. Jocelyn’s Farm and were all able to have a sweet treat too! 🐐 🐰 🐓 🦆 🪿 🐹 🥚 🦚 🐥 An afternoon filled with smiles and sticky fingers! 🙃 🍦 🍭

Happening this Friday at lunchtime! Don’t want to jinx it but the temperature forecasted for Friday is freezie weather!! 😅

Last night we celebrated another excellent year in sports! We had over 60 student-athletes participate in sports in junior and senior high. We participated in many tournaments, had many road trips, and hosted some events in our school. For all of our efforts we received the SSNL Gold Star Banner once again this year.

Last night was a chance to acknowledge our Scholar Athletes and take the time to thank our volunteers for the Junior/Senior Varsity programs, along with our Participation Nation programs.

A big thank you to everyone who supported our initiatives. It is because of the commitment from our surrounding communities that our students get these opportunities! 💚🖤🩶

Mega Bingo happening tonight! (June 12). Doors open at 6:30. Bingo starts at 7:00. Minimum prize is valued at $50! Jackpot is valued at over $200!

We have 12 stocked student Backpacks from Telus. If you are interested or know someone interested in having one of these for school in September, please private message me or call me at the school to arrange pick-up.

Paul, the owner of RAPPA spoke highly of our students and was very impressed with their good behaviour!

For many students this was their first time on a school bus and it was certainly an exciting time for them. They even saw a couple moose and an ice berg along the way!
