I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart, a huge thank you to everyone who has reached out to me over the past few days. Having to sell Blue and QT has been a devastating decision to come to, and I have been struggling emotionally. To have so many people offer such kind words, and checking in, to my wonderful clients for being so supportive, I am beyond grateful to each and every one of you.

I realize that times are challenging for everyone, and everyone is struggling. I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope that we can continue together.

These photos are a year apart. The bottom photo is from tonight, and I am so impressed at how good this old boy looks! Not too many horses can have a significant improvement in their topline at 28 years old. This is why saddle fit, nutrition and a well-rounded training program are so important to the longevity of our equine partners ❤️ I also can’t say enough good things about the quality of care our horses receive at .

What a way to wrap-up another show season! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day today. A huge congrats to all of our riders today:

- Elli and Simon on their success moving up to the 18” division

- Akisha and QT were champion of the 2’ division

- Ryley & Wrigley were champions in the 2’6 & 2’9 divisions.

When your friend tells you she won’t ride after the 7 month period of her pregnancy, so you suggest “pony rides” when she’s 2 weeks out from her due date 🤣

Winnie just wasn’t feeling being a lesson horse today. She became very aggressive in the paddock when trying to be caught. I get it, some days I don’t feel like being an adult either. Instead of getting mad and making her work, I brought her in and we had a spa day. Heating pad, mane trim, grooming, the works. After doing some investigation, her saddle wasn’t fitting quite right and her back is sore.

It’s so important we listen to our horses when they try to tell us something isn’t right. These horses give so much and ask so little in return.

Hard core equestrians still lesson in the pouring rain 🤘🏻 thanks for having such a great attitude tonight, ladies, it was still a fantastic lesson.

To my Roanie Ponie: you were one in a million. When I first met you, you were an anxious and misunderstood little horse who bolted away from the mounting block before you even got a leg over. With time, and much patience, I saw your kindness and talent start to blossom. I never could’ve dreamed just how perfect a horse you would become, and perfect is the only way I can describe you.

You were endlessly patient and kind, with the biggest heart. You were always sweet and affectionate, nickering at anyone who came into the paddock. It didn’t matter how many lessons you did, or competitions you attended, you always walked up to greet whoever was there.

You helped countless riders achieve goals they never new possible, won multiple ribbons and awards at almost every show you went to. It didn’t matter whether it was cross rails or 3’, your effort and love of your job was evident by your expression.

You were as beautiful on the outside as you were on the inside, and I feel robbed that our time together was cut short. I hope you knew just how loved you were by so many.

What a fantastic day at the BEST show at Country Hills Equestrian! Everyone placed in nearly all of their classes entered and put in some beautiful rounds today. Some shout-outs from today:

- Bianca and Willow competed in their first ever horse show, even placing in a few of their classes against a large field of entries!

- A huge congratulations to Bella & Blue on winning their first ever jumping class in the X-rails

- Madeleine & Blue on ending up champions of the 18” division!

- Téa and Theo had some of the best jumping rounds they’ve had yet together, even scoring a 2nd place finish!

- Maya and Boone had a very successful first show together, placing in every one of their classes in the 2’3 division!

Congrats to our fellow who also brought home the ribbons today too! Great coaching today .becs
