A big congratulations to Lexa F., our school’s recipient of the 2024 District Education Council’s INSPIRE award. At a wonderful ceremony on Monday night, Lexa was celebrated in style for all her amazing accomplishments.

Exciting fundraising event at TRHS!

Last Friday, 35 students from DCS competed in the Sackville Music Festival at Brunton Auditorium. All of the students did a wonderful job, and the adjudicator had fantastic things to say. These students keep practicing and get better and better each year! Congratulations, Fundy Fiddlers!

Hello DCS friends and families! We’re still hard at work recycling our cans and bottles. We are always accepting bottle donations to the school or directly at the Memramcook redemption centre under our school account. Our goal is to celebrate our success at the end of the year with a school wide field trip! Thanks as always for your support.

Congratulations to the winners of our Dorchester School Heritage Fair! All of our students worked hard and should be proud of their achievements. As our first and second place winners, Evelyn Folkins and Claire Edgett will move on to participate in the Regional Heritage Fair!

Dorchester School’s Heritage Fair will be taking place this Friday, April 5th, in the DCS gymnasium, from 10:15am-11:45am. Parents and friends are welcome to drop in and see the projects created by the grade 5-8 students!

BigBoxFundraising is ongoing and orders are due in Monday April 8th. This is our current fundraiser. Feel free to sign out a box from the school, a great opportunity to share with friends & family = Boxes are $35 for 35 cards!

DCS is in need of ice skate donations! If anyone has any skates laying around that they don’t use anymore, the school is looking for donations of any size.

We are especially in need of several pairs of men’s skates, sizes 5-10.

Skate donations can be dropped off at the school any time during the school day!

Gymnasium floor update: the lines are being painted today!

Dorchester School gym is getting a much needed facelift!

We had some special helpers over here at PJ and Pancakes day this morning!

It’s PJ and Pancakes Day at Dorchester Consolidated School! Superintendent MacLEAN, Director of Education Support Services, Kim Oakley and Director of Schools, Adam Rogerson had a great time serving up some pancakes in their holiday best!

If you’re looking for somewhere to sell your wares, look no further! Dorchester Beavers and Cubs are hosting a Christmas Market! Give them a call to book your table.

☕️ Coffee orders continue to pour in for our school fundraiser and even though the return date says they are due back on the 13th, we will continue to accept orders until the end of next week Friday November 17th.
There is no school on Monday November 13th for it is a holiday 😁👍sorry for the mistake! If you need more order forms please reach out and let us know!
