I highly recommend the free Desmos webinars. I did the Essentials one today and it was excellent. Desmos activities are so engaging and perfect for synchronous virtual teaching with little prep on the teacher’s part!

In one of the sessions I attended at the NCSM virtual conference this week, this graphic was shared. While I have no idea how the data was collected or who was in the sample, I was still struck by it.
Let's discuss. What jumps out for you?
First virtual conference I have ever attended.
I dressed in professional clothes just to get my head in the right space. Came away with some good ideas that I will share in the future! Day 2 tomorrow!
When you teach classes but are also attending a online PD conference, this is what an at-home classroom looks like! There are no substitute teachers with virtual teaching!
