NBES - Nisga'a Language and Culture

once my youtube channel has been verified, within 24 hours, I will be able to stream live videos for students to watch. My youtube channel is named "Jeffery Stanley" it's registered to my professional email address, and so all uploaded videos or live streaming done there, will be professional basis. Parents and or children, can interact by giving comments in the livestream chat section.

Proposed Scheduled learning times for each grade group

Monday, Wednesday and Friday Schedule

9:00 – 9:30 – PREP
9:30 – 10:00 – Kindergarten
10:00 - 10:30 – Grade 1
10:45 – 11:15 – Grade 2
11:15 – 11:45 – Grade 3
11:45 – 12:06 – PREP
1:00 – 1:30 – Grade 4
1:30 – 2:00 – Grade 5
2:00 – 2:30 – Grade 6
2:30 – 3:00 – Grade 7

Tuesday/Thursday Schedule

9:00 – 9:30 – PREP

Rules to follow in this page:

1. The administrators of this page have the option to add new members as deemed necessary.
2. This page will not be used for any other business except for Nisga'a Language and Culture education.
3. Parents will monitor their child's learning during their sessions with the teacher.
4. all required homework will be submitted via an email attachment to: [email protected]
5. each session will be based on grade groups, not class groups, this will be for the benefit of each student.
6. All students will be required to abide by their appointed times, if you cannot make a day, please have your parent/guardian email me so I can have a learning packet emailed to your parent/guardian.
7. This will be a learning session for both student and parents and we respectfully ask that those knowledgeable in the Nisga'a Language and culture, not attempt to make corrections with the teacher during session times, you are highly encouraged to email me if you have a difference of opinion.
8. Session times will be only with the student and teacher, while the parent observes and learns - If any parents have questions regarding an assignment, I will answer your questions through email, this is so there is no interruptions of any learning during your child's appointed half hour.
9. Attendance is mandatory, and I will be taking attendance each day. Grades will be affected if there is no proper communication with the teacher, if something arises with your child, your child will be marked as excused.
