It’s Day 3 of a week dedicated to IB Science Internal Assessments. Monday and Tuesday focused on Chemistry IAs, with students investigating a wide range of research questions, including enthalpy changes, rates of reaction, the iron content of kale, and the vitamin C content of various juices, among many other topics.
Our students continue their practical and analytical work, applying scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and data analysis skills as they explore their chosen investigations. The Internal Assessment process provides an opportunity for students to design and conduct independent research while developing the skills essential for success in higher education and beyond

Our Primary School community came together for a Hot Dog Fundraiser in support of Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy a couple of weeks ago, with students enthusiastically purchasing hot dogs to help raise funds for this worthy cause.
Pictured are Hazel Richards, Julius Dyer and Evangeline York, along with Julie Lynn, who came by this past week and accepted the donation cheque on behalf of Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy.
A special thank you to Mrs.Jill Finnigan for organizing this wonderful initiative, and to Mrs. Cindy Patterson for helping to organise the event. We are proud of our students and families for supporting this opportunity to give back to our wider community.
