Planet Math and Spirit of Math celebrated the success of local students in the recent Spirit of Math International Competition, with a formal recognition ceremony hosted to honour participants with Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards | Read more: Bernews.com/j9bl

Last weekend, we proudly hosted our awards ceremony celebrating the students who participated in the Spirit of Math International Competition. 🧠🏆

More than 30 students took on this rigorous assessment, with 23 earning Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards in recognition of their hard work and problem-solving skills. These students have also qualified for the Global Round in Toronto—marking the largest team Bermuda has ever sent. 🇧🇲

We were honoured to welcome Minister of Education, The Hon. Crystal Caesar, JP, Commissioner of Education Mrs. Kalmar Richards, and Sean McNulty of XIB Investment Management Limited.

Congratulations to all our students, and thank you to the parents, guardians, teachers, and supporters who made this possible. 👏

We are incredibly proud of what our students have achieved and look forward to cheering on Team Bermuda in Toronto this summer.

Applications are open for the 2026 Planet Math Summer Camp Scholarship!☀️🌎📚

Celebrating its 5th year, this initiative supports Bermuda’s youth through our Summer Xplorer’s Xpedition — a camp focused on mathematics, life skills, social development, and fun. Over 200 scholarships will be awarded for Summer 2026.

Each child must have a separate application submitted by April 10, 2026. Applications are available online only: https://planetmath.education/camp-scholarship/

Please share with students, families, and the wider community. Teachers may also apply on behalf of students. All successful applicants will be notified by the end of April.
