MENSPEAK welcomed founder of Ashay University, Educator, Africalogist, Poet, Lecturer and Author Ms. Melodye Micere Vanputten on to the campus to run a workshop focusing on the African Foundation Timeline. It was dynamic, revealing and well received by the students who attended. MENSPEAK had the opportunity to 'appear' on HOTT 1075 this Saturday on the Dr. Shangri-La Durham radio show 'NEED TO LEAD'. Dr. Lew Simmons was sitting in for Dr. Durham and provided a solid platform to discuss issues around 'What it means to me a man', challenges that men currently face and how we were supporting the growth and development of our men at Bermuda College. The guys spoke well and shared their views on a number of topics. The mantra of MENSPEAK's 'Listen, Share & Learn' was paramount to the discussion. A great experience for the guys with a few exciting projects ideas coming to the table. Watch this space!! Thanks to Dr. Lew Simmons for facilitating a healthy and stimulating dialogue.
