March 1956, the first Urdu School for the students of Indo-Pak origin was established in the Gulf. The medium of instruction is English for all classes.

Pakistan Urdu School – Primary Section celebrated Bahrain's 52nd National Day with great enthusiasm and fervor.

A series of astounding events depicting patriotic feelings towards the beautiful nation was held.

Students and staff were dressed beautifully in the Bahraini traditional attire.

Sharing Bahraini delicacies, face painting, games, and food stalls added to the portrayal of the beautiful Bahraini ambiance at school.

Pakistan Urdu School, Middle Section:

Maths PBL Presentation:
Grade 3: This project, entitled "World of Measurement," allowed students to gain an understanding of how measurement is used in our daily lives and to make models of measuring tools.
The project relies heavily on designing, creating, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Grade 4:
This project covers the concepts of time measurement. And the use of time in a real-world scenario to teach students about concepts of time measurement.
Grade 5:
Fun with fractions and decimals: In this Project Based Learning activity, students create different projects to develop and extend their understanding of fractions and decimals.
Grade 6:
Grade 6 students did the project based on the topic "An Integer story".
For the most part, the students enjoyed planning the story topic, arranging the scene, and drawing the picture. The beginning task was creating the story problems, and for that, the students discussed the ideas with a group before writing them in the final form.
This project engaged our students with discovering how to add integers, subtract integers, multiply integers, and divide integers with this PBL discovery task. During the project Collaboration with science helps students develop various skills.

The English department of the Middle Section in Pakistan Urdu School organized a variety of PBL presentations for all grades.

Grade 3 English topic was 'PLAN YOUR TRAVEL', it was a real-life context-based project in which students learned about traveling documents and procedures of airport counters and boarding to flight. Pupils performed all the steps in their PBL presentation with great excitement and confidence.

Grade 4 English PBL was on the topic ' My Favourite Profession'. Students were given the opportunity to learn about various professions. Students were enthusiastic to choose a profession according to their particular skills and to know what to learn. The project indeed gave enlightenment and motivation to children to have an ambition and work on it.

The topic of Grade 5 PBL was 'The Visibility Project'. Students chose to present their PBL about 'Nature'. They ran a campaign and spread awareness among other students and in their surroundings. They talked about the importance of growing trees and discouraged deforestation. They highlighted the big issue of Global Warming through mime and gave a strong message that for the protection of the environment, it is important to grow trees and stop deforestation.

Grade 6 topic was 'International Council for Global Issues'. The main aim of the project was to research about the third-world countries and their crisis. Students then came up with solutions to the highlighted crisis. This really helped students to know their role and responsibility as a part of humanity.

Pakistan Urdu School, Middle Section:
Urdu PBL
Topic: Storytelling
Storytelling increased the creativity, vocabulary, and challenging skills of the students.
The students of third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade learned what a story is, its types, and how to narrate and write a standard story. Pupils were exposed to the different stages of writing a story. Also, students showed great interest in making this PBL by presenting written stories.

Presentations of all the subjects were amazingly done.

Students explained their projects clearly and persuasively, discussing both the process and product.

PBL presentations helped students enhance their skills in creating a cohesive presentation and presenting it confidently.

Islamiat PBL Presentation

Grades 3 & 4
Topic: Steps of Salah
Students learn how to perform salah properly. The aim of the project was to make the students aware that learning the steps of salah is important for several reasons. First, it is a way to fulfill one of the most important obligations of Islam. Second, it is a way to connect with Allah and to seek His forgiveness and guidance. Third, it is a way to develop a sense of discipline and self-control.

Grades 5 & 6
Topic: Fruits of Heaven
Students investigate the nutritional value and potential health benefits of the fruits mentioned in the Holy Quran, highlighting their role in promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Grade 3:
Application software: scratch software
students did the gaming using various blocks and loops.

Grade 4:
Application software: Scratch software
Students made changes to the background with various colors, moving and jumping balls with animation. Also, they set the score for gaming like Candy Crush.

Grade 5:
Application software: PPT
Using PPT students presented artificial intelligence and launched an Artificial satellite with the technology of GIF with animation and transitions. They used a Hyperlink link with the browser to open the video and played the Artificial intelligence video.

Topics: CPR Design
Using a publisher students designed the CPR
And using the Hyperlink technique students link the database of Excel sheets in the publisher.

Social Studies and BHG PBL Presentation:

Grade 3 - learned about solid waste disposal and Al Areen Wildlife Park. Students learned about recycling and the three Rs, different species of birds, and animals in Al Areen Wildlife Park.

Grade 4 - studied the physical features of Pakistan and the Museums of Bahrain. Students explored different landforms and their features and how they formed. They also learn about different museums in Bahrain.

Grade 5 - learned about our culture and the culture of Pakistan and Bahrain. Students learned about the diversity of the cultures of Pakistan and Bahrain.

Grade 6 - studied about the Landforms and Historical Places of Bahrain. They learned about the unusual features of different landforms and their importance and formation and they learned about the historical places of Bahrain and their importance.

PBL Presentation: Science Department

Grade 3: Germinating Seeds in A Bag:
Students explored the concept of germination by growing seeds in a bag. This activity provided hands-on experience with the scientific method, as students observed and recorded data to identify factors that influenced seed germination.

Grade 4: Natural Disasters: When Nature Strikes:
The Grade 4 project focused on understanding and preparing for natural disasters. Students learned about the different types of natural disasters, such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes.

Grade 5: Harmful Effects of Pollution On Human Health and Environment:
Grade 5 students conducted a research project on the harmful effects of pollution on human health and the environment. They delved into topics such as air pollution, water pollution, and land pollution. They explored the impact of pollution on ecosystems, human health, and the well-being of future generations. As part of their project, students created awareness about ways to reduce pollution and promote sustainability.

Grade 6: Hotter Than Ever: The Last Decade's Temperature Rise and Its Impact:
The Grade 6 project focused on understanding and addressing the issue of climate change. Students investigated the recent rise in global temperatures and its impact on various ecosystems and human activities. students learned about different factors that contribute to global warming, such as greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation. They investigated the effects of rising temperatures on weather patterns, sea levels, and plant and animal species.

Ms. Maryam Khaled Mohamed, a student of Class 4 at Pakistan Urdu School, Kingdom of Bahrain, has won a gold medal in the Chess competition among different schools in Bahrain.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa (First Vice President of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports) was the Chief Guest on this occasion.
The Board of Trustees, Board of Directors, and School staff Congratulate Ms. Maryam, her parents, her teachers, and the School Activity in-charges for this outstanding achievement.

It's often small acts of kindness that have a long-lasting impact.

It helps the students in every aspect of life.

The 3Rs of waste management is an initiative that was developed in the early 2000s as a method that helps all of us to decrease the amount of waste we send to landfills or incineration and to lessen the number of items being produced unnecessarily.

The 3Rs stand for Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Pakistan Urdu School - Senior Section students presented their PBL relating to a field survey.

Students from Grades 7, 8, and 9 were given opportunities to participate in the Debates & Qawwali.

Pupils from Grades 10, 11, and 12 presented “Stage Drama” which unfolded multiple literary talents of our talented students.

Students employed various forms of platforms to raise awareness about the harmful effects of bullying and they also expressed their viewpoints.

The awareness campaign is a part of the school's positive and proactive strategy to create inclusive learning environments in which everyone feels safe, supported, and respected.

"Bullying is bad, it makes others sad".

The Anti Bullying Campaign was done in the Primary Section, Pakistan Urdu School, by the Counseling department to raise awareness to the students.

Students presented Speeches, Skits, and performances on the topic "SAY NO TO BULLYING".

All the pupils presented their performances with confidence and took a pledge to pay respect to each other and say no to bullying.

We are grateful to Ms. Sonia Ali (Head Counselor) for her presence in the program.

Pakistan Urdu School – Middle Section, Annual Urdu Debate Competition, and Iqbal Day Program for pupils of Grades 5 and 6.

Topic of Debate : " Kamyabi kay liye wassail se ziada mehnat zaroori hay".

Students performed tableaux on various poems of Allama Iqbal such as:

Khudi ka sir e niha La ilaha illalah,

Ya Rab dil e Muslim ko,

Nahi tera nasheman qasar e sultani ki gumbad p,

Uqabi rooh jab bedar hoti hay jawano main.

They discussed the teachings of Iqbal and pledged to become "Iqbal ka Shaheen ".

Pakistan Urdu School, Middle Section - Grade 5 and Grade 6, girls section participated in the Annual Arabic debate competition which was held on Sunday, 5th November 2023.

Students tried hard to convince the audience with their opinions.

Their debating skills and confidence levels were up to the mark.

Additionally, the 5th-grade and 6th-grade girls’ students also performed a mini-Arabic skit to raise awareness about the positive use of gadgets and highlight the side effects of the excessive use of the Internet, which was appreciated much by their peers.

Pakistan Urdu School – Middle Section, Grade Five, and Grade Six, girls section participated in the Urdu debates along with the Iqbal Day program.

Students performed the debate in favor and against the given motion and tried to convince the audience with their points of view with full confidence and enthusiasm.

Many other students participated in an introductory program of Iqbal and his poetry for the Nation, they performed a tableau on Allama Iqbal's famous poems and conveyed his message to their fellow students.
