Our EY1 students at the North Campus demonstrate their growing conceptual understanding as they inquire into parts and their needs. They actively participated in hands-on exploration, discussion, and play, were not only building knowledge, but finding meaningful ways to express and apply their understanding.

What makes these moments even more special is the way students respect shared agreements and support one another in collaborative work. Whether working side by side, sharing ideas, or helping a peer, they are developing the foundations of teamwork, empathy, and responsibility.

We celebrate how our youngest learners show that understanding is not just what we know, but how we live it—through action, collaboration, and the many ways we make our thinking visible. We are incredibly thankful to Ms. Aarthi for the engaging learning experiences she curates for our students.

Our EY3 students at the North Campus demonstrated remarkable agency and collaboration as they represented their understanding of the concept of function within the context of buildings and places in the city. Students brought their ideas to life, showing not only what they know, but how they think through creative expression and purposeful dialogue.

What stands out is the meaningful way in which they collaborated. Anyone that could have stepped into this lesson would have been blown away by the quality of listening, sharing, building on one another’s ideas and learning from the thinking that surrounds our young learners. These moments reflect the depth of engagement that emerges when students are empowered to take ownership of their learning.

🔬 Exploring science beyond the classroom!
Our MYP1 and MYP2 students from the South Campus had the opportunity to visit the Science Museum, where they engaged with interactive exhibits and explored scientific concepts through hands-on experiences.
This enriching visit encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and discovery, helping students connect their classroom learning to the real world in meaningful and memorable ways. ✨

Our South Campus MYP3 mathematicians stepped into the shoes of product engineers this week! Their mission? To design and create a high-efficiency lunch kit for hikers using 3D geometry.
From initial sketches and rigorous calculations to building physical prototypes and defending their design choices, these students proved that maths isn't just abstract, it’s the foundation of the products we use every day. Who knew fitting a water bottle, sandwiches, power snacks, and fruit into a box required this much optimization?

North Campus DP1 students were fully immersed in a full-day practical experience with the Ghent University PhD team. This learning experience is an inspiring collaboration that brought advanced scientific learning to life. From cell culture to fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry, students engaged with complex techniques and demonstrated remarkable curiosity, focus, and commitment.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate that our students received certification for completing this specialised training. This is an achievement that reflects both our students' engagement and their readiness to embrace challenging learning experiences. The Ghent team shared how impressed they were by our students’ enthusiasm and dedication, making this experience all the more meaningful. We are incredibly thankful to Ms. Miyuki for going the extra mile to elevate our students' learning experiences.

Practical learning with real-life impact. Our MYP4 South Campus students have been actively engaged in a hands-on First Aid unit, developing essential lifesaving knowledge and practical emergency response skills. Through scenarios such as CPR and first aid techniques, students strengthened their confidence, responsibility, and ability to respond effectively in critical situations.
These meaningful experiences empower students with skills that extend far beyond the classroom—preparing them to act with confidence, care, and responsibility when it matters most. 💙
