After 9 wonderful years, we officially closed Island Sitters in 2022.

Founded in 2013, Island Sitters was proud to be an award-winning childcare agency based in Barbados. We connected families, businesses, concierge services, travel agents, hotels, and event planners with certified, experienced, and passionate childcare professionals.

Whether it was short-term help, long-term placements, holiday care, or event childcare, we were honoured to support so many families across a range of needs—with diversity, cultural awareness, and genuine care at the heart of all we did.

Thank you to every client, partner, and sitter who made the journey so meaningful. Your trust and support meant everything to us.

Happy Holidays! This is a friendly reminder that Island Sitters is closed. We continue to receive enquiries, but unfortunately we are no longer managing any babysitter or nanny bookings for the rest of this year and 2023.
