Dear Mamas,
When I first started iMama many moons ago, it was as a result of providing my own kids with wholesome acivities, having just moved to Barbados and feeling a void.
Well those kids are now teens and with that comes its own blessings and challenges. But what hasn't changed over the years is a need to be connected to others and from time to time, vent and seek feedback and a dose of sanity from other mamas. Thanks to those who respond to my random rants!
Our lives have also changed so much this year - hello virtual living!
Sometime this month, however, one mama posted about etiquette still being a social need - and other mamas chimed in, everyone noting how much their now teens benefitted from past iMama sessions.
So with some spare time soon on my hands (screw you COVID 19 and the job cuts that came with it) - iMama would be making a return. We'll tweak some of our activities to cater to pandemic protocols now in place - and I'll also be acknowledging the 'tweens and teens 🙂 I'm open to collaborations and ideas - so message me accordingly.
Meantime, stay safe - kep sane and know that we're in this pandemic and parenting thing together.
