Join us as we celebrate Spoken-Word with an incredible lineup featuring the talented winner of The Athlete's Foot Open Mic, Rae, who will headline the show alongside a stellar cast including Damani Re, Zoe Sunshine, Aaliyah Cumberbatch, Timon Howard, Jeremiah Toussaint, Raquon Hinds, Malachi Hope, Stonedwithcupid, and Jade Imani.

The Battered Persons Fund (BPF)
The Need. . .
A staggering amount of women continue to be physically abused by their partners and ex partners and over the past ten years, we have seen some gruesome murders and horrifying cases of domestic violence that has left several women severely handicapped.
While women face the majority of abuse, men also suffer in silence from domestic violence and they also need assistance in breaking the cycle.
Many persons try to leave abusive relationships but too often, the odds are against them. Some have no place to go and with just one shelter for battered women on the island many will not find a new home very easily. In many cases children are involved and when attempting to break free, some women leave with just the clothes on their backs, a child or two in tow, limited job skills and low self-esteem.
For some, the fear of being tracked down by their abusers is also a concern and they remain in the relationship living in fear, pain and anguish because they see no other option.
I am asking everyone to come out and support
