On 3 June, the Government of the Virgin Islands and CXC launched the Excellence in Customer Service CXC Programme.

At the ceremony, 14 Virgin Islands public service officers received their certificates for successful completion of the programme, through the Virgin Island Public Service Learning Institute and CXC Professional Learning Institute.

The programme was designed to bring about multi-level training for transformation in service excellence. It was built around real examples of genuine challenges faced by The Virgin Islands public service and focused on various areas including values, ethics, professionalism, communications, service recovery, operational excellence and accountability.

At this morning's opening ceremony of the Caribbean Development Bank's 56th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors, Mr Timothy Antoine, Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank presented Dr Wayne Wesley, Registrar and CEO of CXC with a commemorative $2 note. The note, which is legal tender, honours former West Indies cricketer Sir Vivian Richards and commemorates 40 years of ECCB operations.

During an official visit to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Dr Wayne Wesley, Registrar and CEO of CXC, met with officials of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Bahamas to share with them the innovative work the organisation is undertaking in assessment reform and digital transformation.

Dr Wesley is in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas to attend the Caribbean Development Bank's 56th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors.

CXC officials continued stakeholder engagements in the Virgin Islands today with the leadership of the Virgin Islands Public Service Learning Institute (VIPSLI). In focus were the VI’s public service transformation strategy, the customer service excellence framework standards and the possible use of technology, such as AI, in training.

The meeting was an opportunity to deepen linkages and explore various business development opportunities in the public service including facilitator training and the expansion of certification for public service employees, from the front line to leadership levels.

This morning, officials of CXC made a courtesy call on Hon Sharie B deCastro, Minister of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports, The Virgin Islands.

Discussions with Minister deCastro, and her team centered around CXC’s strategic plan and transformations including education data access and management, assessment reform, CTEC, product innovation. Minister deCastro offered to champion the issue of teacher professionalism and quality in the region through teacher education and training.

The VI expressed its continued partnership support for CXC and discussed how CXC could further undergird its objectives with teacher training courses through the CXC Professional Learning Institute, expansion of CTEC for technical subject areas in the areas of monitoring and standards support and hybrid and proxy assessment models for the VI’s coding and robotics programme.

you can make an Early Release of Results request for university applications? This allows your CXC® exam results to be sent quickly to Universities/ Colleges when preliminary exam results are released. Kindly note that the deadline for submitting Early Release Requests is 31 July 2026. Here are the steps:

1. Log on to your account on cxc.org/my-account if you are an existing user. New users must click the Register tab and then complete the form. Check your email for confirmation, then log in to your new account.

2. Navigate to New Request then to Request Transcript Order Form. (Close the pop-up box if your order is not being sent to WES.) Fill out the Transcript order form. Note that transcripts can be issued only to educational institutions, evaluation service providers or prospective employers, not to candidates directly.

3. Add your transcript order to your cart and proceed to checkout. Complete the checkout form. In the notes section, please indicate in writing that your request is for ‘Early Release.' This will allow expedited processing. For electronic delivery, make sure to include the recipient’s full business or institution name, physical address, and e-mail address.
