A place to Be Informed, Experience, and Relive all things Wesley Hall. Wesley Hall Junior School had its beginnings at Hurd Memorial, in James Street, in 1884.

Documents from the Archives verify that the school was opened on Seventh July 1884 and that the first children were accepted on 8th July 1884.The school was named the Hurd Memorial School in memory of a Methodist Minister Henry Hurd who died in 1883.
