The SRC is thrilled to announce, as a Christmas gift to you, the publication of our SRC Policy Brief “A Sustainable and Inclusive Trade Agenda for CARICOM”, which we have co-published with the TESS Forum on Trade, Environment, & the SDGs.
Authored by Dr. Jan Yves Remy, Director of the Shridath Ramphal Centre, and Peta-Gay Facey Wilson, Assistant Attorney-General in the International Affairs Division of the Attorney-General’s Chambers of Jamaica, this policy brief advocates for the Caribbean region’s development of a sustainable and inclusive trade agenda which leverages emerging trends in the global trading system.
The policy brief highlights the unique characteristics of CARICOM economies from a trade perspective, and explores the opportunities and challenges that a sustainable and inclusive agenda can deliver for them, using the regional CARICOM frameworks.
We invite you to read the full brief which is now available on our website and encourage you to share it with your networks to maximize its impact.
