All of the elementary staff are experienced, credentialed, professional educators. Students take core classroom subjects such as reading, spelling, writing, math, science, and social studies with their grade level teachers. In addition, students go weekly / tri-weekly to classes which are taught by specialists. These include physical education, music, art, integrated technology, library, and both native and foreign language Spanish and Dutch. English Language Learner (ELL) classes are available for students who are learning English instead of Dutch or Spanish. The school does not have services to accommodate children with moderate or severe learning disabilities. The teachers of the elementary grades often work together on special interdisciplinary projects or cross grade-level events.
