Where innovation is the only tradition

The entire island of Aruba and its surrounding water territory has just been designated as a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve!

We're proud to have been part of the youth consultation process and want to congratulate all the organisations and people who made this possible.

To honor all the hard work that has already been done and that will continue with this new recognition, this year for we continued our commitment to ocean literacy.

Our youngest learners ventured out to visit ScubbleBubbles Foundation new academy and learn all about coral restoration while our middle and high school learners watched Turning the Tide, the documentary that explores Aruba’s efforts to restore and protect its marine ecosystems for future generations.

The designation of Aruba as a Man and the Biosphere Reserve is not the end of a journey, but the beginning of a new chapter. As we celebrate today, we look forward to continuing to learn from, care for, and advocate for the ecosystems that sustain us all.

It is with great pride and joy that we announce our next round of EduCampus graduates for the 2025–2026 academic year, joining our official Class of 2026!

These students have worked hard, dedicated hours, days, months, and years, made memories and friends, shared triumphs and disappointments, learned from their crashes and carried the courage to try again, and it has all led them to this moment.

We're exactly 1 month away from our Graduation Ceremony, where the young graduates will be celebrated by their families and loved ones as they walk the stage and receive their well-earned diplomas.

We broke ground this to turn our concrete jungle into a green sanctuary🌱

This journey started with a preparation workshop where colleagues built our planters, and culminated in a beautiful new mural co-created by everyone, as well as a new gazebo to beat the sun.

A special shout-out to the parents who brought their children, helping instill the vital value of volunteer work in the next generation. We also want to say thank you to all of the volunteers who came and gave a helping hand to our greening project. We could not have done this without you!

Our Aruba DOET was made possible thanks to our incredible project leaders, coach Edseline and coach Brandon.

We also want to thank the following people, organizations, and companies for making this day possible:
- ARUBA DOET
- CEDE ARUBA
- Kooyman Aruba
- Azul Constructions
- Iberostar
- Giannis Group
- Paul Wong
- Sunrise City Coconut Collective

When students travel for competitions abroad, we often play a game of “Spot the EduCampus student-athlete” when it comes to photos and achievements and when we are reading news reports and social media posts.🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

To honor the 9 students who travelled to Panama for the IV South American Youth Games 2026 (IV Juegos Sudamericanos de la Juventud - Panamá 2026), we made a fun little game of bingo for you to Spot the Athlete along with us.

•Triathlon: Jeon Fernandes
•Taekwondo: Steffanie van Geene
•Gymnastics: Malaky van Dinter
•Aquatics: Luis-Mario Arends, Eva K**k, Xia Rodriguez, Ocean van Loon, Gabriella Hermans, and Jayrick Winterdal

Keep this bingo card handy for the years to come as these student-athletes continue their respective Olympic circuits.✨

This is the perfect example of hard work and team spirit.✨

This is a story about understanding something you've always felt.

This year for Autism Awareness Month, one of our students sat down with a familiar face to have an important talk about childhood memories, recognizing patterns, and why sometimes it seems like everything is alright when it's not.

This is a story of André's journey.

Last Friday, our Pre-Middle school parents joined their children for a “day in the life” experience.

We started with Learning Time, where parents dove into our academic platform to work side-by-side with their kids.

Things got active during Physical Education, where everyone got a taste of Tang Soo Doo! 🥋

Our current PE focus is on self-defense and body awareness—teaching students the vital difference between a “good touch” and a “bad touch,” and how to react defensively only when necessary.

We wrapped up the morning by sharing a lovely breakfast together. 🥐

We truly believe the strongest outcomes happen when we, the students and the parents/guardians work and have fun together as one. ✨

Doing good feels better in the sun. ☀️ Happy Earth Day!🌱

We spent ours preparing for Aruba Doet, proving that when a community comes together, the whole world wins. A huge thank you to Kooyman for their support in making this possible!

Read more about our project here: https://www.arubadoet.com/nl/node/2506

And while we wait for the Aruba Doet day to arrive, let us tell you more about Earth Day 🌎

Established on April 22, 1970, by Ga***rd Nelson and Denis Hayes, Earth Day began as one of the largest civic demonstrations in US history. In response to the 1969 Santa Barbara oil spill, 20 million Americans demanded ecological protection, leading to the creation of the EPA and the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts.

By 1990, the movement went global, with over 140 countries promoting climate change awareness, tree planting, and cleanups.

As a small island nation that relies heavily on our natural environment, we must use this day to care for the planet we all call home. Let us do our best today so that future generations can experience the natural beauty of our Earth.

Red Education: Citizenship & Social Responsibility

In this elective, students dive into How the World Thinks, exploring how culture, history, and society shape the way people see the world through topics like identity, religion, media, and gender roles. Because the truth is, there is no single “right” perspective.

This learning goes beyond the classroom and helps students build empathy, cultural awareness, and respect for differences. Led by Patrick Dionicio Ricao, this elective creates a safe space where students can share perspectives, challenge ideas, and learn from one another without judgment. The goal is simple to prepare students to navigate a diverse, connected world with understanding and confidence.
