Being Courageous// Congratulations to all our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students for their efforts at the Junior Athletic Carnival. It was a fun day of jumping, running and throwing with lots of smiles. Thank you Mr Rose for organising another great carnival!

Being Curious// Our talented Year 6 students brought history to life with their incredible Wax Museum, the culminating event of their biography unit in English! Dressed as influential historical and contemporary figures, students stood "frozen" in character and came to life to share engaging facts and stories about the lives they researched. We are so proud of the learning, creativity, and confidence on display!

Being Curious// There was lots of curiosity on display during our Term 2 Curriculum Showcase. We love having our families and friends join us in our classrooms to show them what we have been learning throughout the term. The sun was out too for a warm winter picnic morning tea on the oval!

Curiosity// Absolutely blown away by the talent and creativity on display! Each piece tells a unique story and reflects so much heart and skill. Huge congratulations to all the student artists and to Miss Susi who has nurtured the artist to shine in every single student!

Being Courageous// Two fantastic days of competition at our Senior Athletics carnivals! Lots or racing, jumping, throwing and a whole heap of cheering. Congratulations to Dempsey the overall champions and to all our age champions. Thank you to all our staff and especially Mr Rose for the huge effort to make the two days a success!

Reminder Senior Athletics Carnivals (Year 3 to 6) are on Monday and Tuesday this week and Junior Athletics Carnival (Prep to Year 2) is on Thursday 9am - 11am. Please ensure that your child has their hat, sunscreen, lunch and snacks and their water bottle for each day.
Please note: Event times indicated in the schedule are estimates only. We aim to ensure that the program order will be maintained however events may occur ahead/behind schedule.

Connecting with Community// So good to wear pyjamas to school yesterday! Thank you to everyone who gave new PJs for OSCH's donation drive for Micah House. You can still donate all this week - just drop off new pyjamas into the box in the library!

Volunteers Needed!!

The Art Showcase does not happen without a lot of hard work from our students and Miss Susi. Miss Susi will be setting up the showcase on Tuesday 24 June from 9am to 11am and would welcome, and be very appreciative to any parents who could volunteer their time to help her! Just sign in at the library and then head over to the art room to see Miss Susi.

On Monday don't forget to wear your pyjamas to school and donate to OSCH's pyjama donation drive!

Being Courageous// Congratulations to our Senior Rugby League team and their coach Mr Rose. Last Friday they won the pennant at their interschool competition! You are absolute legends!
