At our very foundation, PVCC is passionate about serving our community — both local and global. On Friday, we held a Mission Commissioning Assembly to celebrate and pray over a group of students who have headed to Vanuatu this week to share the gospel and serve others.

Last week, our College Captains were thrilled to hand over $25,214 that was raised for Cancer Council Victoria at our Mission Commissioning Assembly. Back in Term 1, our annual Relay for Life event organised and run by our Student Senate was our most successful event to date! This is such an incredible achievement by all involved.
We want to extend a huge thank you to our school community who made this event such a success.
We pray God’s blessing over everyone touched by cancer and that every dollar raised brings us closer to a cure.

🌍 For 13 years, our PVCC has partnered with Victory School of Hope in Vanuatu, and this year, our Year 10 students are heading to a town devastated by a 7.3 magnitude earthquake. Their journey is a chance to share the gospel and serve a community in need. 🙏 We're raising funds to support rebuilding efforts—every donation helps! 💛 If you feel led to give or pray, details are in the comments section.
"Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!" Psalm 47 was lived out on Wednesday and Thursday night at the Eltham Community Reception Centre for our Winter Music Recitals.
The joy in the Lord was evident through the songs of praise and incredible musical gifts displayed by the students. Thank you to our college community for coming out and supporting this event.
Celebrating Our Young Christian Thinkers!
We are so proud of the outstanding PVCC students—both Primary and Secondary—who represented our college at the Young Christian Thinkers Symposium alongside other CEN schools!
Our Year 6 team tackled a fascinating question: What if a human-like robot wanted to worship God? Their biblically grounded investigation explored whether robots can have a relationship with God like humans. Using verses like Genesis 1:26–27 and Romans 10:9, they concluded that humans are uniquely made in God’s image with an eternal spirit and free will—unlike robots, which cannot experience salvation or spiritual worship (John 4:24, Philippians 3:3).
Our Secondary students responded to this year’s prompt, “Follow Me,” with a creative, God-focused project designed to serve our school community. From initial ideas to visual implementation, they shared a compelling and faith-filled presentation. Their concept—prompting us to turn our thoughts to God each time we enter our homegroup classrooms—was warmly received and praised by other schools as a powerful spiritual reminder.
Across both presentations, our students demonstrated deep thinking, courageous faith, and a desire to glorify God through their words and ideas. We are incredibly proud of the way they embodied our values of Nurturing Godly Character, Courageous Learning and Striving for Excellence. Well done, team—you did a fantastic job!

We love celebrating and building community at PVCC. This past weekend we reminisced and reconnected, toured old classrooms and new spaces with our 2005, 2015 and 2020 Alumni. Thank you to all staff and Alumni who made this event such a success! We are already looking forward to 2006 and 2016 and 2021 reunions for next year! 🎉🎉

Our Duke of Edinburgh students in Year 9 and 10 embarked on a journey of adventure, endurance and teamwork recently at Wollangarra Outdoor Education Centre. What a blessing it was for these students to be fully immersed in God’s beautiful creation and wonder at His majesty as it snowed on their hike.
We are thankful for the team at Wollangarra for their care and support to our students as well as their musical and riddle-telling giftedness. 🎶
