Students in Years 3 and 5 will be sitting NAPLAN between 12th and 24th March 2025.
NAPLAN assesses literacy and numeracy skills that students are already learning at school.
On its own, NAPLAN is not a test that can be studied for, and students are not expected to do

Begins 24th February!

Running Club will be returning for Term 1 on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.30am – 8.45am. Running club is open this term to any students in Year 3 – Year 6 only.

Other students/siblings will not be allowed on the oval at this time. Supervision is provided for all other students in their normal areas from 8:30am.

If your child is interested in participating in our Running Club, please fill out a permission form and return it by Friday 21st February. For more information, please see Mr P.

On Friday, we hosted a special Year 2 – 6 assembly for the presentation of student leadership badges to our 2025 Year 6 school leaders and Semester 1 Class Captains.

The Gislers Pies Fundraising Drive is open!

This year you can choose from:
Family pies ($16)
4 pack of lunch pies ($20)
4 pack of sausage rolls (from $15.50)
3 pack of lamingtons ($10)
8 pack of cookies ($10)
1.4kg large flavoured loaf ($20)
Slice ($8)
2 large tarts ($10)
6 small tarts ($10)

With plenty of flavours to choose from, there's sure to be something for the whole family!

All products will be baked to order and delivered to the school FRESH in the last week of Term 1. Enjoy them fresh or stock up the freezer!

Orders can be placed from now until Thursday March 13.

This fundraiser is being organised by the CPSS Parents and Citizen's Association. All funds raised will be used to purchase IPads and Laptops for student use at CPSS.

The Gisler's Pie Drive is back in 2025 and it's BIGGER and BETTER than ever!

This year we'll have family size pies (both savoury and sweet) as well as snack pies, sausage rolls and a selection of their sweet bakes as well!

The P&C are working with the Gisler Pie Company to finalise the product list. Make sure you're following our socials to be updated when the pie drive launches. (Hint: It will be this week)

The Pie Drive purchases will be available for pick up in the last week of Term 1, just in time for Easter.

The next CPSS Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association meeting is this evening, 11th February at 6:30pm in the CPSS staff room (Administration building – door closest to Uniform Shop). The meeting will also be on Microsoft Teams (see link below). If you’d like to hear about what’s happening in the school, fundraising and events and how you can help get involved (if you wish), then we would love to see new faces.

This is the last General Meeting before the Annual General Meeting on 25th March.
