🌏🔧 Regioneering is an exciting, hands-on STEM outreach program that connects student engineers to youth communities and schools across regional Australia.
This year, our 🍂 Autumn Regioneering program will be taking a group of passionate UNSW volunteers to Central West NSW in the Autumn break to engage with local 🏫 schools through our fun and interactive STEM modules. These modules guide students to apply the principles of STEM to solve problems that mimic real-world scenarios, with the aim of inspiring students who otherwise might not get to explore the infinite possibilities within science and engineering.

Explores the importance of access to adequate healthcare, the functions of human limbs, and the way prosthetics integrate with the human body.
♻️ Renewable Energy
Explores the importance of renewable sources of energy as an alternative to fossil fuels. In particular, this workshop focuses on harnessing wind energy.
💻 Code for disaster relief
Explores the importance of communication and technology for community responsiveness in the face of natural disasters.
🏠 Floating houses
Explores the importance of developing appropriate housing in the context of floating villages in the Tonle Sap region of Cambodia.
🏗️ Safe structures
Explores the key role that structural engineering plays in building structures resistant to natural disasters.
