Congratulations to the 9yo N.
N had booked in for lessons in 2021 but he had to cancel before his first lesson as he became very sick and other parts of his life became a focus. Then last month I got a message from his mum saying N was all ready to try again and did we have time these holidays?
Today was his first session and he'd done the pre course videos to learn what he needed to do. With his improved strength and focus he was up n balancing soon and then riding within 30mins. His own words : , "it felt good, great - awesome!"
Yes it does feel awesome to ride a bike buddy.
See you for L2 and 3 soon.

Congratulations to the 9yo M. Before he started lessons with RABR he was very scared to take the tw off his 16" bike. But his family enrolled him in my class which had the videos to watch beforehand. So after seeing the videos M trusted the process and took off his own TWs and practiced his scooting and balance.
Today he came to his 1st session rolling in .😀 , his mum said 'i think he'll need more that the 3 sessions " ....And I said to his mum , "M's doing awesome, he'll be riding in about 15mins".
Well it was 11mins so I got that wrong, but then mum was gobsmacked with how well M had taken on my teaching points and was prepared to challenge himself.
Up and riding for 45mins. He loves his 16" and I'm sure he'll enjoy a 20" eventually, but let's stick to 16 for this week.
He said as he rode away" I have the joy of riding" 🚲💜😊
Well done lad!
Well it's a clear CRISP morning here at RideaBikeRight. Lessons are up n going again after my hot/sunny/humid holiday in Singapore. (Yes I got a bike ride in, tourist style!)
School holidays private classes are available to book if your child needs to get off those training wheels!
Welcome back to winter ❄️ Lee-Anne
Congratulations to the 9yo J.
J has had lots of lessons to develop his speed, coordination and braveness.
His family have put in many practice sessions between our lessons and today L4 was the perfect end product of everyones' efforts.
Today he can in balancing, with feet high. We practised pedalling on the stationary bike then onto the bike to try it IRL.
He loved it and di so very well.
Riding for 25mins today, he now knows why riding a bike is fun and great!
I can't stress how important the homework practice is for your learners to develop the skills. Keeping this regular also improves resilience as not everytime is awesome!
Tha ks again to his family for al. Their efforts.
Lee-Anne RideaBikeRight
Well it really was one of those wonderful weekends of working, teaching kids and teens.
Nine all riding around with the joy they have never before felt.
Congratulations to all them and a huge thanks to the parents who put the time for homework (pre or between lessons!)
This afternoon I had the final session with 8yo A who had aced his first and 2nd lessons, so much so that we decided to do a fun 5km ride around the east parklands as his L3!!!
Thanks for the gift, I humbly agree with your statement. 💯🚲👏🏼
I can't wait to hear you've been riding with your friends and family too !
And to wrap up the day we have another in 7yo L.
Having been nervous but attentive in L1 she did her homework and sent videos for feedback 👍🏼
Balancing perfectly we transitioned her to pedals on the 18", then to her own 18" then on to my 20" each of which she rode with joy and pride.
Congratulations to her and the family for putting in the effort.
Today was the day that 7yo J became the
Having practiced since L1 I could see there was the spark and wow didn't he love it when pedals were put back on and riding started.
Dad was proud as punch and tears flowed for the joy that he was witnessing.
Congratulations and happy shopping for the family bike (cos the lil siblings will use it as a hand me down 🚲 😁)
Congratulations 👏🏼🚲
Welcome to the 7yo M.
M came to his first lesson during the week , and I knew he was close, and that his family would be super busy once school got back (teacher parents!) So a bit of holiday homework and today he was up n riding!!!
Mum was thrilled and indeed so was M.
Riding the 18 and 20" bikes.
New bikes in the coming days I suspect 😁🚲👍🏼
Congratulations 👏🏼
This the the location where this morning 9yo G became the .
Having focused in his recent practice session with family today I could see that he was ready to ride.
Using the stationary bike trainer to get his gross motor muscles in a pattern, he transferred the skills to his bike like a pro and he was riding!
There were proud tears for family who attended and from the lad G himself, well he was calm and very pleased to be riding!
Congratulations 👏🏼👏🏼🚲🚲
It's a with 6yo E doing her practice in between lessons and today she rode in for her 4th session.
Riding the full lesson, we even got to try grass!!! Lovely to see her development over the weeks and I hear the Lil brother has also done some learning!!!
Congratulations on your class graduation today
She can do handstands; she can do cartwheels and now she can ride a bike !!!! Congratulations to the worldsnewestbikerider 9yo H who did her homework thoroughly and was up and riding early in L2.
It's wonderful to work with kids who take in the instructions a coach has given them ('coachable' is a term often used) it shows a connection to their own learning and that of the common goal or getting up and riding!!
Well done all.
And H said that riding a bike is now "amazing!" 💜🚲
Cool shirt of a kid at work today
We spent a wonderful morning at Riverlea Park display village and these two were amongst the 10 kids we taught to balance on their bikes. 4 kids got up and riding in just 90mins !!
Lovely session as ever.
The area around the display village is closed off to cars 4 times a week so was the perfect location to have our lil riding class. So many families taking advantage of the space and safety to get their children riding 2wheels
Congratulations to the 11yo G. Having done hee best in practice homework, she was still wondering why she *had* to learn to ride.
Up and riding in L2 she soon discovered that riding is fun and double fun when family is involved!
Very happy all round.
Congratulations!!
