Laura is revving up her future career in motorsport with an internship at Australia’s premier motorsport series. 🚗💨
Laura is thriving as a partnerships intern, gaining hands-on experience with the dynamic team at Supercars, while also supporting the digital and marketing teams. She’s played an active role in major events like Sydney Motorsport Park and the Tasmania SuperSprint, and has even been recognised by her managers for her dedication and passion! 💪👏
Her time at Supercars has given her invaluable insights into what a career in motorsport will look like, and she’s already planning her future in the industry.
At ICMS, we’re proud to see students like Laura excel and make meaningful contributions in their fields. Our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program is more than just an internship—it’s a stepping stone to career success!

Tomorrow is Open Day and we could not do it without our incredible team of student volunteers! 🙌🏻
We are excited to welcome the community and prospective students and their families to our campus on Saturday 17 August 🏰
“At ICMS, wherever you are in the world, you will always have a friend nearby!" 🌏 As an Australian student, Tamzyn arrived at the ICMS campus intending to fully immerse herself in an international school environment.
Staying in a triple room, Tamzyn formed a close bond with her roommates, Johanne and Maria, who were participants in the Go Study Australia program from Norway, spending a Study Abroad trimester.
Their residence was a mix of cultures, including 20 Norwegian students who came to Australia for the summer trimester to escape the European winter.
Tamzyn’s experience shows how important it is to cultivate friendships with people from around the world, not just for enjoyment and creating memories, but also for the significant influence they can have on our personal and professional paths.
Looking ahead, Tamzyn and her friends have made a pact to inform each other of their travels and meet up whenever possible.
Their next adventure?
A trip across the United States, with stops in California, Michigan, and New York.
To fellow students, Tamzyn offers this advice: “If you’re looking for a sign to visit your friends—just do it.
“Embrace the connections you make at ICMS—they might just lead you to unexpected and wonderful places.”
