May 23 is World Turtle Day and the Mary River Turtle has won the Whacky and Wonderful Turtle title for 2023!! If you’re lucky enough you might see one while on camp at Garapine Outdoor Education Centre.

While all our turtle contestants received a lot of love from everyone, the Mary River Turtle had that extra bit of love and attention - crowning it our 2023 winner! We really appreciate all the likes, comments and shares.

You can't always rely on Siri. Map reading is an essential skill and orienteering makes it so much fun!

Plus it supports personal and community health and wellbeing and creates connections to the natural and built environment. Definitely worth including in your camp program!

We've had some great feedback this year. It's super important to us that we are delivering a quality experience that meets students needs and continue to improve. Big shout out to our amazing staff who do an exceptional job delivering real outcomes for students! 🙌
