The GymbaROO program encourages babies and children to achieve the essential development sequence of movements, optimising brain development. We provide lots of movement activities that help to release those “feel good” hormones - endorphins - that help children think clearly, concentrate, nurture a healthy self esteem, develop confidence and emotional regulation skills at every stage of development.

The GymbaROO program is an Australian child development program which focuses on building strong foundations for later learning in life through music and movement. We provide activities that connect the brain to the body in the early years. It is a program that supports and builds strong parent/child interactions. Classes are a mix of fun and educational, age appropriate activities targeted at specific developmental outcomes.

Our classes are specific for ages and stages of development and include activities that promote the development of physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive skills at each level. During your class you and your child will be guided through a wide variety of fun activities that are perfect for developing the brain and body. Together you will actively engage in our program through singing, hand rhymes, exercise, massage and games - to name a few. Each week you’ll see your child becoming stronger and more confident.

Our sensory-motor-perceptual-conceptual program encourages students to organise themselves at a more complex level of functioning. As each student matures and grows in age, they move up in levels and classes, so each task becomes increasingly more difficult. At GymbaROO we believe in creating a positive environment where children can feel comfortable developing skills at their own pace. During our classes children have time to learn a new skill through trial and error. Not getting it right the first time, in the company of a supportive adult or carer gives children the opportunity to develop patience and coping mechanisms when faced with the challenge of learning to get things right.

Last week we were dazzled by many, MANY beautiful Christmas dresses and outfits that came to GymbaROO for reindeer week, for the last week of GymbaROO. In one class we had 5 little girls in their dazzling red Christmas dresses 😍😍

Thanks for dressing up! We loved all the delightful Christmas outfits 🎄🎄

Thank you for helping sort out the office Miss I. Your cheerful personality lights up our space and it’s wonderful watching you change and grow. You’ll become a member of our team in the near future we can tell and you’ll totally nail it!!

Last week we celebrated Christmas at Ryde GymbaROO 🎄 🎅 🎄🤶🏼 🎄

Everyone loved riding on “Rodney Reindeer” - our friendly GymbaROO reindeer and, coincidentally, also besties with Rudolf 😉

Rodney had fun too, bouncing and laughing with all the Ryde GymbaROO Joeys 🦌 🦘

Today is our final day of classes at Ryde GymbaROO but we’re going back in time slightly to Flamingo week for our Monday families. So any Monday families coming to do their class today you’re welcome to come dressed in pink (for flamingo), or in Christmas colours again 😀😀

To all our Ryde families our Christmas Shop is still open today from 9:30am till 2pm & tomorrow from 9am - 12pm if you want to come in and do any last minute gift purchases from us. There’s still plenty of gifts to meet every budget 😀😀🎄
