Anxious about your child’s HSC results?

Here are five reasons not to worry! Expert insights from one of Australia’s leading student support teams at the independent Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) include:
1. Never let your child feel that the ATAR defines them, whatever the number
2. Remember that expected ATARs are a guide, and unis often recruit students with lower scores
3. There are many courses with no ATAR required, including some ranked among the highest in Australia for student satisfaction. ACPE has high quality degree programs with no ATAR required, and we are just one great option for sports-focused students.
4. Great student support is critical – check that the program your child is going into has access to help when required, particularly if they are choosing a program with lots of other students.
5. Choose a course, not a brand. In the end its about kick starting the career that you want, not impressing the in-laws at Christmas!
