Recent graduates👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓 and high achievers🤩🤩 from Emmaus Catholic College returned to school recently to take part in a Masterclass Session for current Year 12 students. Students got advice on how to succeed in the HSC from study habits to planning responses and so much more.👩‍💻👨‍💻

St Paul the Apostle Primary Winston Hills students were excited to welcome their new Principal, Kathryn Newman. Kathryn took on the role of Acting Principal at the end of last year and is thrilled to be appointed as Principal this year. The colourful rainbow of balloons at the gate 🥰🎈 gave students a pretty good idea of how happy she is to be leading the school.

Congratulations to Liz and Vic O'Callaghan who were both awarded Medals of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2024 Australia Day Honours. 🙏👏👏🏅

Liz was recognised for service to education while Vic received his honour for service to restorative practices. They have a special connection to the Diocese - they are the parents of St Luke's Catholic College Assistant Principal Francis O'Callaghan! 😇

Liz has a long association with our schools, having served as Principal at St Mary MacKillop Primary, Penrith South from 1995-2007, Assistant Principal at St Thomas Aquinas Celebrates from 1992-1995 and Assistant Principal (1991-1992) and teacher (1986-1992) at St Michael's Baulkham Hills. She was also a creative arts advisor for the Diocese.
