Our CUA51020 Diploma of Screen and Media students had a blast creating their Restoration looks this week. This Makeup is quite the task and incorporates brow blocking, neutralising, a white base, transforming brow and eye shapes, lip lines and wig application. The complete transformation takes skill and focus and is a definite accomplishment. Don’t they look gorgeous 🥰

on photoshoot number 2 of 28. This week is black and white which explores the concept of Greyscale and tonal value in makeup. Believe it or not the contour is blue, they eyeshadows are pinks and oranges. But here all we see is the scale of grey. Tomorrow students will participate in another photoshoot for black and white, creating a fashion inspired look. We can’t wait to show you the end result.

to June 2023 when our talented Advanced Diploma Student .maiya created this incredible body paint at the HSC career expo. This beautiful piece of art kept people guessing if model was a real person, she is btw.
We were blown away.
Our new intake will participate in their first photoshoot next week so we thought it might be fitting to inspire them this beautiful monochrome body paint, shot in colour without any filters applied.

WELCOME TO ACMUSE. We are completing week 3 and classes are full!
Our newest intake of Screen and Media students have settled in wonderfully and the college is two stories of Makeup buzz.
Welcome to our new students and welcome back to those returning for the Advanced Diploma class.
We are living for this 2024 energy!

At the start of the year we teach everyone of our Diploma of Screen and media students about the colours that make up skin. We guide our learners to see the hue and tone of the skin. We teach how to utilise colour theory to create art within the realm of Makeup Artistry. We believe that Makeup is Art, our canvas is always the person. It is not a flat predictable canvas. It is ever changing requiring skill, technique and true vision to create a work of art, fit to be worn on our largest organ.
At the end of the year we are always thrilled when we witness the students using all they have learned to create beautiful masterpieces like this body painting. Created by one of our students in 2020.

It’s been a busy two weeks at ACMUSE. We have welcomed our new Diploma of Screen and Media students and they are just amazing.
Our 2024 Advanced Diploma have also started creating so it’s a full house here in the ACMUSE studio and we are bustling.
This week our new students learnt all about that base. Mixing foundation colours and neutralising all skin tones.
They are still a little camera shy but believe me you will be seeing a lot more of all of our wonderful students in the weeks to come.
