Hon. Matthias Osobase Ehizua, Aspirant for the Esan West/Esan Central/Igueben Federal Constituency, wish to make it absolutely clear that I have no connection to this document or its contents.

Clarification of Facts
To ensure there is no public or party misunderstanding, I wish to state the following:

No Involvement: I did not write, authorize, or endorse the drafting or distribution of this petition.

Identity Theft: My name and likeness were used fraudulently without my permission.

Verified Alibi: On the day this document was supposedly issued, I was in Abuja at the APC National Secretariat undergoing my official screening exercise.

We, the concerned and committed members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Esan West, wish to firmly distance ourselves from the so called kangaroo endorsement of Eseigbe allegedly carried out by a few self interested individuals acting without the consent, approval, or collective mandate of the majority of party members.
The APC is a party built on internal democracy, fairness, consultation, and respect for due process. Therefore, any attempt by a few or selected group to impose a candidate through a kangaroo endorsement is unacceptable, misleading, and a direct insult to the democratic principles upon which our great party stands.
We strongly believe that leadership and representation should emerge through transparent engagement, broad consultation, and the genuine will of the people not through secret meetings, political manipulation, or personal interests disguised as party consensus.
Esan West belongs to all APC faithful, not to a handful of individuals seeking to hijack the collective voice of the people for their selfish ambitions. We call on National party leaders and Edo state leaders at all levels to wade in this matter, disregard this unauthorized endorsement and allow a level playing ground for every aspirant.

Yobe: Concensus Suffers Setback...

..As VP Shettima Fails To Persuade G-6 Leader, Bomai To Drop Governorship Ambition

It appears that APC may be heading to direct primary election in Yobe State to field its governorship candidate for 2027 General elections as last minutes push by Vice President, Kashim Shettima to persuade Senator Ibrahim Bomai to drop his governorship ambition and endorse Baba Mallam Wali has failed according to credible reports.

Shettima today led a powerful delegation including the preferred governorship candidate of the APC, Alh. Baba Mallam Wali, and former Minister of Power, Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu, to meet with the Senator representing Yobe South, Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai at his Abuja residence.

During the meeting, Shettima was reported to have begged Bomai to consider going back to the Senate and allow Baba Wali to fly the party's flag, an offer he vehemently rejected insisting that he should be allowed to exercise his right by contesting the governorship seat.

Sen. Bomai, a two-time Senator has repeatedly maintained his position not to step down for anybody unless presented with cogent reason.

He has been the arrow-head in forming the G-6 movement that consists of 6 governorship aspirants who have purchased their governorship nomination forms in line with the APC guidelines.
