What a great week to enjoy water play in the sandpit. Our gorgeous toddlers took their shoes and socks off and loved playing in the sand and at the water table.
So much excitement as their little toes squished their feet into the soft sand, lots of giggles as they splashed the dinosaurs in and out of the water.

What a fantastic week we had at Kinder. Some of our special grandparents and special people came to kinder to enjoy some special one on one time with the children. They enjoyed some special activities followed by a lovely Covid safe morning tea.

Also our new monkey bars and swing set were installed. What a fun week at kinder.

This week the children get to enjoy transport week in our art room. Along with finger painting, paint stamping, water play and sensory play. Our art classes are apart of our daily routine. All children from babies aged 8 months up to our kindergarten class get to enjoy time in our dedicated art room.

Board games are an important part of our 3 & 4 year old kinder program. Our teachers sit and engage with a small group of children. Teaching children how to take turns, rolling a dice, numeracy, literacy, problem solving and having lots of fun while playing these fun games.

Our dedicated team are passionate about spending time creating engaging provocations for our children to enjoy. Each provocation is thoughtfully set out for children to learn, explore and play.

We are very excited about the new provocations set up in our art room this week. This sea life provocation has been designed for the children to explore different sensory and the use of their imagination. 🐠🦀🐳🦑

The children in our kinder room are enjoying the new hairdressing station set up. They are practicing brushing the dolls hair and using clips and bows to make beautiful hair styles.

Our dedicated art room is one of the children’s favorite times of day with our daily art classes. The children all get to enjoy creating masterpieces or exploring different sensory play experiences.

Our gorgeous Cienna who is in our school holiday program loves to visit the babies each day. The babies all light up with joy when she comes in for a play. Today Cienna was rolling and throwing the ball to a very happy Thomas who laughed and giggle and threw the ball back to Cienna with such delight.

One of Charlotte’s favourite places to express her passion, to paint, is our fabulous art room. All of our children enjoy daily art classes.

Creativity is allowing children, the freedom to experiment and drive their imagination with paint on paper.

Happy Father’s Day to all our dads. The children enjoyed making a card, paintings & a Hairy Harry for their dad.

What’s on this week at kinder in the Meerkat room? Lots of exciting, fun and engaging play based learning. Our outdoor play areas are equally set up for our adventurous children.

Children who’s parents are front line, essential workers, can leave their children, at kinder and go and do the important work that has to be done. We are here to care and educate their children.

Because of Covid restrictions, we have moved the children into 2 rooms. Fun times are planned 😆

Who doesn’t love a tricky puzzle. The children in our kinder room have been doing puzzles since the start of the year. They now have competitions to see who can do the trickiest puzzle the fastest. We love seeing their confidence grow as they master a new puzzle each week.

This week is Dinosaurs 🦕 🦖 week in our art room. Melissa has been working tirelessly to get the new art room ready for the children to enjoy.
The children get to explore different sensory activities involving all things dinosaurs.

Thank you to all our families who donated to the National Pyjama day last week, we have sent in our donation from all our families.

The children in our Dolphin’s room (3 to 4 years of age) have been mastering their cutting skills using the scissors. It takes lots of practice, patience and repetition. The children have been creating lots of amazing master pieces.

Last week we celebrated national pyjama day at kinder, to raise much needed funds for children in foster care.

The children were all so excited to come to kinder dressed in their pyjamas and bought along their favorite teddy for our teddy bear picnic.

The children all enjoyed a fun cooking experience making and decorating biscuits for their afternoon picnic.

Our gorgeous babies in our Ducklings room enjoying some fresh air, some sunshine and the feel of the soft grass as they play and sing songs with Elissa and Navkiran.

Today the children and Educators wished our beloved Caterina all the best as she heads off on Maternity leave to have her first baby. We are all sad to see Caterina go but we look forward to welcoming her back with her baby girl in the new year.

This week the children in our Fairy Penguins room have enjoying playing with soapy slime. They used a variety of different funnels, scoops and their hands to move the slime around. The children laughed and smiled as they played.

With the cool winter weather upon us, our children have all been enjoying our new winter menu. Today the children enjoyed this delicious veggie packed risoni pasta dish.

Who doesn’t love Spanish paella? Our children all enjoyed this super delicious dish for lunch today.

The children in our kinder room are creating artwork inspired by traditional indigenous art techniques. We can’t wait to see what their creative minds come up with.

Our kinder children loved our new construction zone set up outside, with a hammer and nail station. The children got to experience using real hammers and nails, as they carefully nailed different bits and pieces to large blocks of wood. They enjoyed talking to each other about what they were making. The children were all engaged in making robots, little people, cars and animals.

Today the children enjoyed some super tasty homemade chicken pies for lunch. Packed full of hidden veggies 😉

Box construction is a big part of our kindergarten program. The children love using their imagination to construct different things and talk to each other about what their going to make.

Our very talented chef Majida made this delicious lunch for the children today. She made spiced chicken skewers with roast pumpkin and fried rice. Needless to say there wasn’t any left overs. All our meals are made fresh on site daily.

The children love our large traffic school, surrounded by our growing trees and soft natural tan bark. This provides an uninterrupted space where they can ride the bikes around the track. Aston , Nyah and Oliver love racing each as they laugh and play.

Our amazing outdoor play yard has been set up with tall climbing frames and an obstacle course. The children are improving their gross motor skills by climbing, balancing and jumping.

One of our clever Educators within our team, came up with this wonderful idea to have a wishing tree. This is a great way for parents to communicate their dreams for their child. The idea is for the parent to spend a couple of minutes talking to their child about the dreams they have for them. They write it down then their child can hang it on the wishing tree.
