We thought you'd appreciate this article. Animals can teach kids kindness and compassion, and they're our future, right! Could it be that the key to world peace can be unlocked by animals? ❤️
Young Maggie nailed the drop step away with Harvey on this morning’s walk around Bunyip
Today as a “family” we went out for lunch at our favourite local cafe ! Our pups had a great time in their drop and got lots of pats from people and children passing by 😀💪🏻

Training your dog is not a race. Patience, time, consistency, love.
We have been working with our new little friend Pedro, helping him to build his confidence in the big wide world. And we are certainly proud of this little fella. Check him out…walking like a big boy with his pack.
We know he has a long way to go but we will continue to show patience, give him time, provide him with consistent messages and give him loads of love to help him continue to grow into a ‘big’ brave, confident and happy boy.

Hola Patient Paws Friends!

We would like to introduce you to our newest Patient Paws pack member.

Meet Pedro.

Pedro is 5 months old and is currently receiving a whole lot of love, guidance, training and of course more love. He is extremely shy and a bit scared of the world but we know with our help his sweet, funny and cheeky personality will shine to all in time.

He is learning to love walks, slowly learning to meet new people and explore the world.

We can’t wait for you all to meet him - we love him already 💚💙

Welcome to the Patient Paws Family Pedro.

Remember, it’s OK to not be OK.

We are definitely living through a testing time.
And we know everyone is traversing this upside down world differently.

But if you have noticed someone seems a little out of sorts, perhaps more withdrawn, or just not themselves, start a conversation.

Are you ok?

And really importantly, be prepared to listen with open heart and open mind. Remember everyone will be experiencing this time differently.

ONLINE PUPPY SCHOOL (pups 8-20 weeks)

Next group starting soon!

Throughout the last 18 months of lockdowns we have been continuing to support families who have welcomed new pups into their homes via online Puppy School.

Lockdowns do not mean that you can’t train your pup and the Patient Paws Team are here to help!

Our online Puppy School consists of;

4 weeks of online video tutorials which will run you through all of the fundamentals of obedience and manners training plus ways in which to socialise your pup throughout this period (and when life returns to ‘normal’).

PLUS

4 one hour Zoom sessions with your puppy class and trainer each week to go through the weeks learning, problem solve and practice with your pups.

The cost of our Puppy School is $115 which includes the 4 x 1 hour Zoom classes AND 4 weeks of online video tutorials.

Throughout the four weeks we focus on helping you to begin developing a language with your pup that you can use for the rest of their development and life with you. We focus on reliable obedience, manners and socialsation.

After Puppy School once restrictions are eased we will be able to open our Patient Paws HQ again and we offer group classes, multi-day workshops, Doggie Daycare, 'Train & Play', doggie adventures and more.

Our next Online Puppy School group is starting;

Saturday 11th September 9:30am (the 4 zoom sessions will be on 11th, 18th, 25th September and 2nd October 9:30am).

When you sign up you will receive access to the video tutorials prior to your zoom class so you can start watching and learning straight away.

So if you have a new pup we’re here to help!

PM for more details or to book your spot!

We are so very sad to hear of one of our beautiful daycare pack members passing.

Sweet little Colin had a rough start to life but was so blessed in finding an amazing human who was devoted to giving him the best life possible for as long as she could.

Despite his health problems little Colin was always full of nothing but fun and joy! Happy to explore, join in any games with new and old friends and gave the best cuddles.

Little Colin brought us so much joy and he will be very dearly missed by myself and the team.

We are all sending you much love and many hugs to Colins family and we hope that the fun and joy he had with his aunties and fur friends at daycare can bring you some comfort.

Rest In Peace sweet boy.

Lots of Love from myself and all of the aunties.
❤️

Good morning Scavenger Hunt friends!!

Starting tomorrow we will post a riddle of something for you to find with your doggo. You may need to think outside the box and come up with some fun interpretations of the answer with your doggos.

Even though we ‘officially’ start our Scavenger Hunt tomorrow but we thought we would give you a practice run today.

Here we go;

Violet, red, blue, green
Yellow and indigo
What’s the other colour you’d find in a rainbow?

Gorgeous George is demonstrating our interpretation of the answer! Good boy George.

Now your turn! Post your answers below.

Remember, this is a practice run for a bit of fun.

The official Scavenger Hunt starts tomorrow.
