Hi everyone! Just wanted to shout out the accomodation form again, especially for OCs!

We understand that travelling and accomodation can be expensive for BLs so we would like to try and support yall as much as possible.

For OC students, please consider offering to host a BL student if you can! Doesn’t need to be fancy.

For BL students, we will try to set you up with an OC student as best as we can, noting your preferences and any accessibility needs.

Here comes our first event of 2025! We’re having a picnic on March 31st, right after classes finish, from 3:45 to 5:00 pm in front of the Southbank Library. Let’s catch up, enjoy the sunlight, and have some good food. A little getaway from assignment stress, and a chance to meet year 1 and year 2 mates!

Feel free to bring your own food, we will also provide some snacks.

Are you interested in experiencing music therapy, but not sure what it’s all about? Do you love listening to music, writing songs, or playing musical instruments and want to share these experiences with others? Maybe you’ve never tried any of these things before but want to give it a go? Well look no further, as our music therapy students need your help!

As part of the University of Melbourne’s Masters of Music Therapy program, 2nd year students are required to facilitate music therapy experiences with non-music therapy volunteers. Volunteers will have the opportunity to take part in music therapy interventions such as song writing and improvisation under the guidance of final year music therapy students. No musical experience is required to participate and volunteers will be supported within a safe and fun space!
