Dear Parents,
On Thursday the 24th of June, the JSC have organised a Pyjama and Beanie day to raise money for the RSPCA. As JSC we had to pitch a local organisation of our choice that we strongly believed in. This was presented in our meetings and then we voted for our most passionate organisation. The RSPCA was our chosen charity, because there has been lots of damage from the bushfires and that has caused animals to lose their homes. The RSPCA is also an organization that promotes the health of animals. They’re aim is to make sure that all animals have a life free from abuse. The RSPCA also provides homes for domestic animals, like dogs and cats that have been abandoned. We also have chosen this charity because animals can’t talk and tell us when they need our help. So please support our charity of choice by wearing your PJ’s, our school beanie and bring a gold coin donation. Plus, as part of our fundraising we are also selling juice boxes and a cinnamon donut for just $2. We hope to see you all in your favourite PJ’s and help support this worthwhile cause!

Kind regards,
JSC and School Captains

School is back tomorrow to start a new term. We have a new playground space that has been absent for awhile-the spiderweb, has been relocated onto a green soft grass surface.
The Speight building is open and ready for the grade 6 classes and 2D while the Wales building is fenced off and under construction for the next few months.
Nature play is well under way and we will see a lot of change to this space in the coming weeks.

Big thanks to a small crew of parents who had a workout last week moving mulch from the play area on Wales Street to the new play area we are establishing on Clyde Street.

Our plans for Nature Play are under way. First step is to make a space for the relocation of the climbing equipment in the top playground. As you can see, we have a newly levelled area for this to happen in the coming weeks.
Once we have moved the play equipment, we will start the next planning phase for the landscaped outdoor classroom and Nature play area.

A fun way to celebrate book week 😊🌟
