Maths today we were getting use to the routine. Starting off with a game followed by teaching and practice task and lastly reflecting on our learning. What we did was pretty basic but it's all about establishing routines and expectations.

Rush Hour

This ride became a favourite of the children.
Lots of staff rode this ride as well.

Some staff and children didn't go on for a second ride and some dedicated riders went on it four times. Lots of fun had by all.

Let the fun begin!

During the last week of school we plan fun and exciting things for the children to do. This year we decided to go to Gumbuya World as the children missed all excursions this year.

Lots of rides and swimming was had by all.

Today the children started their fence weaving project. The guidance they got was how to fence weave and it needs to reflect our environment. The classes have a gate each. I was impressed with the fact that they coordinated the sun in the same place.

In art the younger children made spiders for their cave.

To prevent similar behavior in the future, you’ve got to dig a little deeper and change the language you use to describe your child β€” even in your own he...
