International Women's Day is a time to reflect on progress, acknowledge ongoing challenges and celebrate the women making a difference in their communities.
The theme for this year is 'March Forward: For ALL Women and Girls', which calls for decisive actions that will open doors to equal rights, power, and opportunities for everyone, as well as a feminist future where no one is left behind.
In this video, hear from two Deakin graduate researchers, Dilendra Wijesekara and Zoe Brittain, as they share what it means to be part of Deakin’s 50-year legacy, their hopes for the next 50 years and their insights on how to march forward for the next generation.
