Welcome to Bunuru ☀️
Bunuru marks the peak of hot season with little to no rainfall. During this period there’s persistent hot and dry easterly winds. Be thankful for the cooler refreshing sea breeze in the afternoons. Bunuru’s the time for living and fishing by the coast, rivers and estuaries.

Birak – the first summer, also known as the "Burning Season," is when the Noongar people set controlled fires to regenerate the land and make hunting easier while the animals are more visible.
The Native Christmas tree, known as the Moodjar tree, showcases its bright orange and yellow flowers. Reptiles are more active, so keep an eye out for snakes. The cool sea breeze brings a refreshing change in weather, making it the perfect time to unwind by the ocean.
