It has been announced! The Childcare Subsidy (CCS) will be changing on the 10th of July!
These changes will include an increased rate, which means reduced gap fees for many of our families, as well as extra families now becoming eligible to receive CCS rates.

We had a fantastic Summer Program this year, and we can really see how our School Readiness Intensive has helped our graduates transition onto 'Big School'. Throughout the year, we offer a comprehensive School Readiness program with qualified educators and teachers to children aged 3-5 years. We are excited to be preparing those children this year for their next adventure in 2024.

How do you support families when toddlers are starting care?
I ensure that I assist families to confidently transition to care through open communication during stay and plays and orientation visits, developing bonds with the children and beginning to build relationships with the parents.
What do you want families to know to feel reassured?
That I am open and honest with them and genuinely want their children to be comfortable, settled and engaged in learning.
What will toddlers be exploring in January and February in your Toddler Room?
The coming months we will be working on developing our communication and language skills through singing, storytelling, puppet play etc
What’s your favourite part of working with toddlers?
That so much learning is occurring at a variety of levels and different milestones are being reached and that every day is different!

Miss Tamara joined our team in July 2022 as a Trainee Educator and has shown such dedication and drive to learning and putting theory into practice! While studying with the Affinity Learning Academy, Tamara has the opportunity to develop her skills and knowledge as an educator in a supportive environment. Trainee educators are paired with mentors and receive one on one training from our Development Coaches to ensure that our trainees reach their fullest potential!
