🌟 Celebrating 20 Incredible Years with Leona! 🌟

Today, we celebrate our amazing Director Leona, who marks 20 years of service with Goodstart Early Learning! 🎉✨

Leona began her journey in early years back in 2005 as an Educator. Over the years, her passion, dedication, and leadership have seen her progress through roles as Lead Educator, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and finally, as Director 💪👩‍🏫

In 2020, Leona became the Director of our Currumbin centre, and in September 2022, we were lucky enough to welcome her to Goodstart Tallai, where she continues to inspire her team and families every day 🌈👶

Leona, thank you for your two decades of commitment to shaping young minds, supporting your team, and creating warm, nurturing environments for children to thrive. Your passion for early learning is truly inspiring! 💖👏

💦 Water Play Adventures! 🌈

Our nursery children have been diving into water play, and it’s been an absolute splash of fun and learning! This sensory-rich activity has brought so many developmental benefits:

✨ Exploring Colours: The children have been learning to recognise colours and experimenting with mixing them to create exciting new shades!
✨ Melting Ice Magic: Using droppers to ‘melt’ the ice has sparked curiosity and helped develop fine motor skills as little hands get to work.
✨ Teamwork & Social Skills: Sharing tools and working together has made water play a wonderful way for the children to connect and learn from one another.
✨ Gross Motor Development: For our younger learners, standing at the water table has been fantastic for building confidence, balance, and strengthening growing leg muscles.

Water play is more than just fun—it’s a perfect opportunity for exploration, creativity, and connection! 💙

🌟 A New Year, New Adventures! 🌟

As we step into 2025, we look back on the magical moments we shared at Goodstart Tallai in 2024. What an incredible year it was!

One of our favourite highlights was our Christmas Party, a fun-filled gathering at our local soft play centre. The evening was filled with laughter, play, and festive cheer as our children, families, and educators came together to celebrate. Seeing the joy on everyone’s faces as they explored the play equipment and enjoyed time together was truly heartwarming!

Here’s to more wonderful memories in 2025. Thank you to our amazing Goodstart Tallai community for being part of such a special journey!

🌟 Kindergarten Class of 2024 Graduation 🌟

What a day to celebrate our amazing Kindergarteners! Despite the heavy rain forcing a last-minute change to Miss Mel’s carefully laid plans, she went above and beyond to ensure the celebration was nothing short of magical ✨

The room was filled with smiling faces, proud families, and even a few tears (from Miss Mel, of course 🥰). It’s been such a joy watching this group grow, learn, and shine throughout the year. As they now prepare for their next big step into Prep, we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. From future teachers, vets, scientists and superheroes, their dreams brought smiles to everyone’s faces 😊

A huge thank you to Miss Mel for her dedication, creativity, and heart. The love and care she’s poured into her Kindergarten class were evident in every special moment of this Graduation.
