New blooms in our Veggie Garden! Our little explorers are digging into the new year— planting fresh starts and can’t wait to watch them bloom! 🧤🌱🌸

3, 2, 1… Blast Off! 🚀 Our little ones engaged in an exciting rocket ship number game with recycled materials, building their early numeracy skills through interactive play. 🔢🎲

This week we welcomed our CEO, Dr Ros Baxter Goodstart CEO, Our Head of Advocacy, John Cherry, along with the Local MP for Moncrief, Angie Bell MP, and her associate, Scott Burgess, to our centre. We toured them around each room meeting each of our amazing team of educators as they showcased their learning environments and individually tailored learning programs.

Around 1 in 5 Australian children start school without the foundational skills identified as being vital to success. However, access to a high-quality Kindergarten program has proven effective at improving outcomes for all children, and evidence is emerging that shows two years in a Kindergarten program is even more effective.

Goodstart’s vision is for Australia’s children to have the best possible start in life, and we were grateful to be given the opportunity to share this vision with those who can affect change.
