I had a student years ago who had started an online tutoring business for mainly high school students. A side hustle - if you are into tutoring - is to sign up to numerous sites that offer tutoring to students K-12 and also college students in many subject areas. Much of the tutoring is done online so you can do it from home. Here is an example (I do not know how good this company is as I have never use them. It is just an example).

As stated yesterday, here are three takeaways from an article I read in Entrepreneur Magazine. Starting a business can be a struggle especially if you have never done it before. An article written by Amanda Breen highlighted three tactics one can take in building a business on the side. First one is to find a partner in another industry who can assist you. Between the two of you, there may be opportunities you did not know existed. The second one is to treat your day job like industry research. By doing that you may discover gaps that are in your industry and a side business for you. The third one - and I agree totally with this one as it has worked for me - is to create something you wish existed. If you find it frustrating not having it, there are probably others out there with the similar feeling.

After being unwell for about 6 weeks, I am finally back on track. Apologies for the delay. I also joined a gym today after not being able to for a few months. It felt great even to do a slow 35 minute cardio routine. Tomorrow I am going to share some things I learned from reading Entrepreneur magazine last night. Some really good info on having a legitimate side hustle to make extra income to supplement your 'regular' job. I remember when they called it 'moonlighting'. (Shows my age). I am exploring various business opportunities that I can share with everyone mainly via eBay right now. It has been very easy and fun overall. To a certain extent it is a passive way of making money and getting rid of 'stuff'. I am still working on delivering the podcast. I have been dealing with a blocked ear for 6 weeks and losing a little bit of hearing. Thanks for your patience.

Hi All - I am almost better and still working on the computer. I am always looking for difference business ideas and opportunities to share with students. THIS one is based in Birdsboro / Reading Pennsylvania. I totally support personal and professional development including mental health. I don't think I ever though of this idea. I may have to check it out for 'professional' development! I don't think I have come across anything like this in Australia. Look forward to your thoughts.
