PLEASE STAY OFF SCHOOL GROUNDS

Good morning families, staff, and students,

We are aware that our school has suffered damage due to the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

Our Principal has been working closely with authorities and QBuild to secure the site and ensure safety. However, with the storm continuing, assessing the buildings remains a challenge.

⚠️ DO NOT ENTER THE SCHOOL GROUNDS

The safety of our staff and students is our top priority. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

We will provide an update regarding school reopening after 1:30 PM today via Facebook.

Stay safe, and we will keep you updated.

Burleigh Heads State School will be closed tomorrow, Thursday 6 March and Friday 7 March. Updates regarding arrangements for next week will be communicated via our page. Please stay safe.
