At Assisi Catholic College, we have so much to be grateful for and to celebrateโone of those blessings is our incredible teachers. ๐
William Roberts, one of our amazing staff members, has come full circle, turning his inspiring experiences as a BCE student into a rewarding career shaping young minds. His story is a testament to the heart and dedication of Catholic education. ๐ฌ
Today we celebrate the feast of Saint Stephen whose story is recorded in the Acts of the Apostles.
โช Tradition tells us that he was a leader of the Church in Jerusalem. Stephenโs preaching about Jesus and the resurrection angered members of the synagogues and he was accused of blasphemy and sentenced to death by stoning.
Saul of Tarsus, who became Saint Paul the Apostle, participated in Stephenโs murder. Stephen is regarded as the first Christian martyr.

๐MERRY CHRISTMAS ๐ฏ๏ธ
Wishing all of our current and future families at Assisi a blessed and happy day, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Enjoy this cherished time with your loved ones remembering the true meaning of Christmas๐.
Archdiocese of Brisbane
Big or small, does your family get together for Christmas? ๐
Different cultures, churches, and even families celebrate Christmas differently, but most gather with loved ones. ๐
Whether it is around a BBQ or under a tree, Christmas is about sharing the love bestowed upon us and celebrating the season together.
But being together with your loved ones is not always easy. With people being spread all over the world, there are many who cannot be with their families this Christmas. Or some people may not have any family to spend it with. Let us keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
How will you wish your loved ones a Merry Christmas tomorrow?
