Welcoming International Education Agents to the Gold Coast

Last week we hosted 21 education agents from key markets including Brazil, China, India, Colombia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Chile as part of our International Education Agent Famil 🌟

Over five days the agents explored numerous educational institutions and discovered many of the experiences that Gold Coast offers.

Over the past six years, Study Gold Coast Famil's has provided invaluable opportunities for our member institutions to showcase their courses, campuses and offerings while allowing education agents to truly experience what life is like for students on the Gold Coast.

This week our Trade and Partnerships team are in the Philippines to spread the word about the Gold Coast as a study destination.

We are thrilled to share the success of our agent briefing and networking event in Manila yesterday with a full house taking in the presentations of Jennine Tax and Anya Olympia with education agents and delegates having the opportunity to hear the success stories from some of our amazing Gold Coast alumni.

This trade mission couldn't have been possible without the incredible support from our friends at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), our esteemed SGC member institutions, and local education agencies. Together, we continue to forge stronger connections while opening doors to exciting opportunities in international education.

"Taipei to the Gold Coast" is an initiative in partnership with Australian International Student Tours that fosters cultural exchange by welcoming students from the Gold Coast's sister city Taipei. πŸ€πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ΌπŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Our partnership encompasses various sectors, but we particularly emphasise educational collaboration, aligning with Taiwan's "Bilingual 2030" policy.

Study Gold Coast plays a pivotal role in supporting this endeavour, facilitating a range of educational experiences on the Gold Coast.

These experiences not only enhance students' English proficiency but also cultivate their intercultural competencies, enriching their overall learning journey.

This week our guests visited the Gold Coast Student Hub to check out the amazing facilities we offer students once they are here, so they have a Home away from Home.
