🎄HINTERLAND CHRISTMAS PARTY 2024 🎄

Yesterday we held our annual Children’s Christmas Party. What a turn out!!!! The children loved engaging in the Christmas activities provided, having turns on the water slide and performing for their families.

We thank the wonderful families who attended our Christmas party!

Gardening has the power to teach children about the beauty of flowers and vegetables, whilst also teaching them valuable life lessons like patience and helping them to develop a sense of responsibility, understanding, cooperation and a love for nature 🍃

Kindergarten Graduation for 2024 🎓

Tonight we got the chance to celebrated our class of 2024, what a year it’s been for our kindergarteners, from making new friends, learning new things, reaching our milestone, to laughing and growing together. This year has been full of precious moments. We are so proud of you all and wish you the very best ❤️

Hi my name is miss Emily
I’m an assistant educator here at hinterland I am currently completing my certificate III and have recently completed my high school education.
I enjoy working with children because I get the chance to create bonds with each and every child and it allows me the opportunity to help introduce children to the world of knowledge and learning.
I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to assist your child in the beginning of their learning and watch them grow into educated children.

Fun fact: I love going to the beach and I also have a Wheaten border collie named Pippa 🏖️🦮

MEET OUR EDUCATORS 📝👩🏼‍🏫

Hi my name is Jemma, I’m the lead educator in Junior Kindy room. I have only recently graduated from school and have been in childcare for 2 years with my Cert III and currently studying my Diploma.
I believe that each child is an individual and as an educator I want to develop and value each child’s strengths, interests and knowledge at what ever level they’re at.
I believe strongly that children learn best through play and I want to provide the best opportunities I can for my children to explore, discover and imagine.
I love working with children, these kids deserve an exciting teacher, someone who looks forward to those magical moments and milestones, full of highs and lots of smiles/ laughter.
Our children come to kindy ready for us to surround them with lots of love, encouragement, and hope.
I hope to leave a smile on each and every one of my children’s face at the end of the day each day.

Fun Fact: I love any kind of sport, I have represented Australia for Futsal over in San Francisco and I loveee food ⚽️🥅🍓

JUNIOR KINDY 👦🏼🎨

Our Junior Kindy students had a creative and educational day recognizing and exploring basic shapes! Using circles, squares, triangles, etc.. and placing them in the right spot 🟡🟨💛

Today we introduced some fantastic new toys and the children couldn’t have been more excited! Watching them be creativity, imagination and teamwork as they built, explored, and imagined was such a joy 🌀✨

Hi my name is Miss Jade. I'm a lead Educator in the toddlers room. I have been in childcare for 5 years with my cert ||| and currently studying my diploma.
I'm a mum to a 11 year old and have one on the way. Being a mum I understand how important it is to create a safe, secure and loving environment for all the children in our care.
My goal working at Hinterland is to allow children to express themselves freely, advocate the role of learning through play and building connections between children and there families.
Each child is unique and deserves a place they can freely be there own individual person.
I am so grateful to spend my days watching each child grown and learn.
The smiles, laughter and endless amounts of hugs is why I couldn't think of anything better to do i truly love being here.

Fun fact: I could live of sushi, I'd have all the turtles in the world if I could, and I love being with my family 🍣🐢👨‍👩‍👧‍👧
