Dear Families
If you received Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for 2018-19, you must confirm your income with Centrelink. This includes CCS paid directly to you and CCS paid on your behalf to a child care provider.
Most parents have already confirmed their income, but if you haven’t, do it now.
If you don’t confirm your 2018-19 income by 30 June 2020, your CCS will stop from 13 July 2020.
To confirm your income with Centrelink, you and your partner need to either:
lodge your tax returns with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
complete an ‘Advise non-lodgement of tax return’ with Centrelink, if you don’t need to lodge a tax return.
You complete the ‘Advise non-lodgement of tax return’ in your Centrelink online account through myGov or your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
If you’ve already confirmed your family income for 2018-19, there’s nothing else you need to do.

Well that's a wrap people. I'm way to emotional to thank the supporters just now. But this is how I will remember my time as a family day care educator, the tiny hands that once wrapped around my finger as new babies growing up to hold my hand and reach for me. The small humans that felt so comfortable and relaxed that they effortlessly absorbed knowledge for their surroundings, they played and became such amazing people I can't even.

My amazing service, Ngala Bright Stars are keeping our spirits high and continuing to provide high quality care and education through out the pandemic life we are living! Today Mandy and Izzy the safety lizard visited us to talk and sing about safety, maintaining social distance we were still able to connect, learn and laugh!!! It was the best visit ever, followed up with some stories about safety!
Thank you Ngala for going above and beyond all the time!

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that Angela's Family Day Care will be closing on Thursday the 23rd of April 2020.
To avoid the tears I have been focusing on how amazingly appreciative I am to all the families that have supported Ben and I for the past 5 and a half years. I have been truly blessed to have met the best people and cared for their children. These families have supported a local small business and I have been able to work from home and support my son while doing what I feel most passionately about, caring for children. I don't have enough words to describe how I'm feeling. I am missing you already xx

A good reminder!
Make the Easter bunny proud! It’s really important to remain diligent and keep up social distancing in the lead up to Easter.
The unfortunate reality is that our usual Easter gatherings will not be happening this year. Please try to only do essential Easter shopping and don’t wait until the last minute and crowd the shops.
Let’s keep each other safe and reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19!

Today we are tuning if for Perth zoos live video from the giraffe enclosure! We have been talking alot about giraffes so we are super excited about today's animal!

We had a fun game of Simon says yesterday and on Monday we read the gingerbread man story, watched it on YouTube and then retold the story using felt pieces!

Last week we loved the story of the dirty dinosaur! We used our fingers to paint some dirty dinosaurs and used soapy water and sponges to wash them clean again! Then we washed our hands clean using the right technique. These kids are expert handwashers!

We would like to help our Senior Citizens in the Community. Especially with all that is happening at the moment.
For one hour tomorrow, Saturday 28th March from 8am till 9am, we will be giving ALL SENIORS A “FREE” BOX OF FRUIT & VEGETABLES! (Already made up)
For the Health & Safety of our Seniors, we would ask that Family members collect their Senior Family members Box.
Simply let our Cashier know you wish to drop off a Seniors Box of Free Fruit & Vegetables.
Please remember to keep in mind social distancing whilst in Store.

Tuesday we had so much fun finger painting! Everyone got their hands in to feel the smooth paint, and then we drew and wrote with our fingers! We watched the colours change as they mixed together. We made prints of our drawings which the children thought was pretty clever!

I have limited vacancies on Mondays and Thursdays but welcome you and your family to visit and see how family day care works and meet with me if you are seeking child care solutions!
I provide care for children aged 6 months to 5 years, vacation care, but I do not transport children to and from school.

Our story board. All ages were involved and interested in helping to tell our favourite story. We glued on the characters and drew in each fruit that that each animal stole from Handa's basket! I wonder how the children will use this story board? Will I hear some great retelling of Handa's Surprise?
