This September they celebrated 25 years with a thriving school that now teaches Kindergarten to year 10, with well over 100 students 🥳🥳

You can see Rod Bevan here - one of the school's earliest trailblazers - cutting the celebration cake 🎂

We're pleased to share the newest episode in the CSA Leadership Development Podcast.

In Episode 3, we talk with Dr Brian Harris (Director) and Jennifer Argue (Executive Consultant) from Avenir Leadership Institute as they share their theology and journey of leadership in education.
Together, they challenge us to think about the generational impact of leadership and the place of instilling hope in our schools and their communities.

They also pose the question of how the vision and hope that is instilled through godly leadership makes a difference for now and the long term.

Calling all Student leaders in years 10 and 11 in Western Australia...

Mark Ryan (CSA Executive Officer, SA) is headed to Perth to run a 2 day course on Leadership and Spiritual Formation Training.

Through the Biblical themes of creation, fall and redemption, students will be encouraged to wrestle with how their faith and life connect.

During the Conference, student leaders will be inspired to:
*think deeply about the big questions of life
*grapple with the depth and beauty of the biblical story, and
*challenge themselves on how and what they think
*recognise that we all lead ourselves out of some narrative - some framework of belief.

Genuine, people-impacting leadership will emerge authentically out of a life grounded in scripture. Taking responsibility for this grounding is the essence of self-leadership and the foundation of kingdom influence.

Who can you refer to the course?

At CSA one our core values is 'Excellence in Education' - and it is wonderful to see all the ways that our member schools exemplify this!

Our huge congratulations to 4 stellar young entrepreneurs from Cedars Christian College in NSW: Teliah Wood, Luke O’Neill, Joshua Santos and Isabella Kerlin who all impressed the judges as they pitched their ideas for solving a real life business problem.

They are now 4 out of the 6 finalists who have made it to the second round and will be in the running for 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year!' in the Young Eyes Festival of Innovation event in October.

We'll be cheering you on and looking forward to seeing your ideas in October! 🎉

At a CSA event for HR Specialists in Perth recently one of our brilliant attendees (who happens to be head of HR at Kennedy Baptist College) reminded us all of this thought from author Rick Yancey.

"God doesn't just call the equipped, He equips those He calls".

Christian Schooling is a mission. And you have been called to it.

May God equip you for all of the works He has prepared in advance for you to do (Eph 2:10)

One of CSA's core values is creating and instilling values for life - have a look at how member school, Alta-1 College in WA is doing just that!

Recently the Port Kennedy Senior students in partnership with Awaken City Church made 500 delicious sandwiches for students at Gilmore College 🥪

The students loved being part of this community initiative and said, "it feels good knowing we are helping out others that are having it tough".

Thanks, Alta-1 for being an example of Christ's love for ALL.

Calling all Business Managers, Finance Managers, Board Members, Administrators and Executives:

Registrations are NOW OPEN for the Christian School National Business Conference 2022!

⭐️Growing and preparing for what God is calling YOU to⭐️

The focus of our keynote sessions will be on interpersonal dynamics within our executive teams (boards, staff teams, etc) and how we progress meaningful dialogue and decision-making in that context. This theme is synthesized with spiritual formation, ie. the interpersonal dynamics we experience are both the product of, and catalyst for, formation.
Held this year at the Mantra on Salt Beach, Kingscliff NSW.
