Master Beekeeper and our mentor, Mr. Richard Matthias, says that honey is the taste of an island. It’s the honey that showcases the essence of each island - it’s flowers, soil, and water.

We’ve been so fortunate to have Richard with us over this last week, training Anguilla’s newest beekeepers - a group of women who are committed to not only honing their skills in this craft - with Richard guiding the way - but also in being stewards of Anguilla’s wild spaces and species - including all of our pollinators.

We’re proud to introduce you to the Queen Bee Collective.
