It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ms. Guia, a cherished member of our school community and a wonderful TA. After a brave battle with illness, she passed away peacefully.
Ms. Guia was a gentle, caring presence who touched the hearts of so many students, families, and staff with her warmth, patience, and kindness. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her impact and love will always remain with us.
Please keep her family in your thoughts, and if your child, you or any of our staff needs support during this time, we are here to help.
Sending love and strength to all who knew her 💛🕊️

It’s All About the Heart! 💙
Our Year 6 students dove deep into the wonders of the human heart.
Guided by one of our amazing Secondary Science teachers, Mr. Maxwell, students took part in a real heart dissection! A unique, hands-on opportunity not often experienced in Primary school.
Learning comes to life when curiosity meets creativity — and our Year 6 students absolutely loved this journey through the heart!

Our secondary students recently took part in an engaging science and technology excursion designed to complement their classroom learning. The experience provided valuable insight into real-world applications of scientific and technological concepts, helping to broaden their understanding across a range of topics.
From interactive exhibits to innovative demonstrations, the trip offered a closer look at how science and technology shape the world around us—connecting theory with experience in an exciting and meaningful way.

Our FS students are busy building key numeracy skills through engaging lessons on patterns and early maths. These foundational experiences not only develop logical thinking and problem-solving but also lay the groundwork for lifelong learning.
At Capital school, we believe that learning should be meaningful and fun, starting from the very first years. We personalise learning building upon children’s interests to ensure our children remain highly engaged and involved in their learning. We encourage and nurture their curiosity and empower them to become independent learners and take on new and exciting challenges.

Students from Year 3 to Year 6 recently took part in a weekly maths challenge, where thousands of participants were gradually narrowed down through quarter-finals and semi-finals.
We're proud to announce that three of our students reached the finals, with one student ranking in the top 50! In the final round, students tackled a range of maths problems, along with physical and word-based puzzles designed to challenge their reasoning and problem-solving skills.
A big thank you to our dedicated teachers for preparing and supporting the students throughout the competition. Your guidance made this achievement possible.
Well done to all our students, and our top 50 finalists from year 4 and year 3 for their focus and perseverance. You’ve represented Capital School with pride!
